I think the reading is a lot smoother in contrast with the white-noise background than the white, sorry.
I will keep this in mind when redoing the forums layout for other options.

Speaking of forums layout. The Forum Category List (the index of the forums) has been redesigned to be a bit more mobile friendly. I would say it is 90% complete and then some tweaks here and there are to be made.
Topics List and Posts List will follow. I wouldn't expect them for another month or two at least.
