yooperfan;301792This "Ice Bowl II" shit is annoying.
The weather forecast for Sunday is" sunny, 21 degrees with light winds.
A pretty nice damn day for Green Bay in January.
Screw this Ice Bowl shit!
Stop holding back, Yoop! Tell us how you REALLY feel![grin1] [laughing]

Once again I won't get to see this one.
I'll be watching left to right on my radio dial from the Tilden Mine.
I will be able to participate in chat however.

I may be at basketball tournament but the way my Nephew's team looks I don't think they will win the games it will take to advance to the Sunday afternoon round.
They lost their first game in their first tournament 60-2.

Here we are, where we (The Packers) have fought all season to get to. The Divisional round of the Playoffs.
Our opponent, via typical low road style is The Dallas Cowboys. Jerry paid for their trip to Green Bay , but he'll not repeat his skulduggery at Lambeau Field.
I'd like to see the Packers wear their light colors and make Dallas wear their Darks colors. However they will look very much as they did for the Original Ice Bowl. It will be very cold and yet , as the field is heated, no feet need be numb from cold .
I'll very much enjoy seeing that pompous ass Jerry Jones return to Texas the real loser he is .
Therefor I say , bring on "America's Team" , The Packers will send them home Packed and Sealed . I hate the arrogance of the team from Dallas and all of their fans (especially Skip Bayless).

The way that game went down drew a ton of scrutiny.
I doubt they'll try to screw us too badly this week.
They'd be stupid to try.
So we should only have the 'Gurlz to beat, not the officials as well.
Don't look past this game, but we should have this well in hand.

It will be close, but ultimately I think the Dallas D will be less able to stop the Packer O than the other way around:
Packers 37-31

It does not require a new thread to post that two experienced QB's will compete in the GB/Dallas game. What should be closely looked at will be the O/D Line play of both teams. All will suffer a few breakdowns, but the game will rest upon the recovery of turnovers. I fervently believe that GB will win the turnover battle. The Cold weather will act upon the game, yet the Packers will be better prepared to compete in it .
Now let us focus on the game at hand and not drift off topic !

If we properly pass protect I see no way that their defense can cover Cobb and Jordy. Sprinkle in some Lacy to keep them honest and I think the pack could roll up 30 easily even in frigid conditions.
On defense I think we're gonna have to follow the lions game plan and blitz from all over to get tony off his rock. That O-line is too good to rush 4 against all the time so extra pressure will have to come. I look for Burnette, Hyde, Shields, and maybe some surprise appearances from
Jarrett Bush blitzing from the secondary to occur.
Obviously the number 1 key is stoping Murray. The best way to do that is to score first and fast. If we can get up a couple scores that'll
make em one dimensional. Dez is gonna get his balls no matter what, but we could be able to limit that if we get a lead and prevent the play action to murray.
