"Greg C."Trippster, I'm about where you are on this. I would say that Orton is better than Trent Dilfer, though. It looks like the Bears wasted a couple years (and possibly blew a chance at a championship) with the Rex Grossman experiment. Orton is a pretty good QB who is a good fit for the offense they run in Chicago. He is not to be taken lightly.

Agreed.. they aren't a very vertical pass oriented team.. he just needs to manage the game and take a little pressure off their defense.

He isn't the worst QB out there.

I dunno, it seems a lot of people suddenly jumped onto the Bears. Think we should give him at least 1 full season and see if he's still performing to this level. I mean, Derek Anderson looked great in 2007 but look at him now.

it don't matter how much stats he or she for kyle orton,it matters about what you're teams final record is.look at the saints,best passer in the league,but they SUCK!

I'd take Orton over any of the Vikings QBs right now.
