I really, really wanted Jordan Cameron.
Miami is signing him.
So, I would still be pleased with Charles Clay.
I can't believe we would roll into next season with Richard Rodgers and Andrew Quarless as our top 2 guys.
Yeah, RR might make a jump but you can't count on that.
We need a whole lot more out of the TE position than we got last season.
Michael Johnson is still out there and I'd love to see him as we were pursuing him not that long ago.

The AFC East has been making a lot of moves, and none more than the Dolphins. Time will tell if any of the other teams will finally get back to the playoffs, or whether it'll be the Patriots yet again.

I don't think either the Dolphins or the Jets are gonna end up pleased with the moves they made. Buffalo might, and New England has mostly been losing players. I don't see any of them better off. I also don't see the Eagles as making wise choices.
As for the Packers, first off, the TE situation which was commented on: I don't see any benefit in paying fairly big money for a down-the-field receiver type. I didn't ever care for Finley or that whole category of TE. I'd rather have reliable possession receivers like Rodgers and Quarless. If the goal is throwing deep, we are better off going with four or even five WRs, and retaining Cobb was a giant step toward that, assuming Adams continues to develop, and Janis and Abbrederis play the way I expect.
The place we could use FA help is Defense. I really wish Ted would open up at least to the extent that he picks up a mid-range ILB as well as a Corner, even though not much is left there - that applies even if we keep Tramon, and expecially if we lose him.

All the more reason to LOVE what we do in our offseason! Just look at those compensatory picks!
