I'll be at the movies for the Avengers opening night, but I have a feeling TT is going to drop into the early/mid second round anyways so I won't be missing much. Just hope we can pick up an extra third rounder.

I have a different problem. I can watch the first round on Thursday
but will have to take my wife to the Avengers movie on Friday.
I
think I will be sitting around waiting all Th evening only to have Uncle Teddy trade out of the first round. Then I will miss his picks on Day 2.

I will be DVR`ing the Draft so that I can fast forward thru the commercials so that I can watch it without all the `Dud`weiser commercials. As a home brewer I take offense to paying for water. [laugh] It will be hard to wait but I know TT will sell the 30th pick for a pick in the 4th round or so. Friday will be our day! Go Pack go!

I would like to see the Packers trade back into the 2nd round with a trade something like the following.
Packers get
37th overall
104th overall
Jets get
30th overall
This gives Ted Thompson another 2nd and 4th round selection and I believe he between rounds 2 and 4 are where he is most efficient. I don't like his track record for drafting in the first round all that much.
Forgot to add this ... with 37th overall selection, take DT Carl Davis from Iowa. Kid is huge (6'5" 320) and his presence will keep the LB's free from those pesky OL.
If that kind of trade can't be had, then I'm sticking with this.

Zero2Cool;305731Draft Denzel Perryman and watch the improvement.
Packers Senior Personnel Executive Alonzo Highsmith tweeted praise to Miami senior LB Denzel Perryman.
The player personnel member is a former star running back out of Miami, so he has close ties to the program. Perryman will be mentioned as one of the top prospects among off line of scrimmage linebackers.

I'll go with Eric Rowe as our pick at 30...I just know TT will cave to the pressure to stay at 30 so he doesn't ruin Thursday night for Packers fans.
Unless one of those 19-20 1st rounders fall to 30 it is unlikely anyone is going to want to move up in this starpowerless draft.
Best hope is what was talked about earlier...one of the guys with character issues falling down and some team in 2nd wanting to get up there and get them.

I actually like Rowe, I have him up there with Johnson, Peters and Jones as CBs I wouldn't mind getting.
