DoddPower;332176I think people simply need to understand that Rodgers is who he is. I'm not sure why some are shocked by his behavior. He's never been a "rah-rah" type guy. You can't have it both ways. It can't be he has "ice in his veins" when he's having success and "pouting" when he's struggling. He seems pretty even-keeled to me. He's just not one to show a ton of emotion regardless of successes or failure. I'm the same way. It is what it is. I don't outwardly express super highs or super lows. That's Rodgers personality. It always has been, and always will be. It's who he is. I really don't think he's acting like a "big diva" like many are putting it. I just think he is not playing well and is frustrating. Chances are when the Packers are having success again, Rodgers will be acting the same way and no one will care because the Packers are winning. It always comes down to winning, and winning cures everything. Losing just exposes things that have always been there.

It's not that he's unemotional.
Sure, the team always comes out flat and unprepared mentally to perform at a high level.
But the diva thing is separate from that.

He hasn't wanted to adhere to WCO fundamentals for a long time, opting instead for this Run and Shoot bullshit.

Now he's not even doing is footwork or progressing through his reads.
He just wants to run around and play sandlot ball.

So you're proclaiming that Rodgers completely disregards his coaching and runs his own style of offense? That's a bold proclamation (and obviously BS).

As I said in my previous post, Rodgers is the same Rodgers he has always been. The Packers are just struggling and losing right now, that's the only difference. All the bad things under the surface come to light when a team is struggling. The Packers are 6-3 and can easily turn things around with a win next week. It's up to them and I wouldn't be surprised if they beat the Vikings.

Except he's not using proper footwork or progressing through his reads.

No he isn't, his accuracy (particularly near the sideline) is completely in the shitter compared to what it has always been.

I still don't see how that makes him a diva. That just makes him a player that isn't playing well. Big difference. Either way, how many MVP QBs aren't divas to some extent anyway? It comes with the position. I'd rather have that problem than a lunch-pail QB that sucked and hasn't won MVP awards and a Super Bowl. No player can be everything to everyone.

Reading through some posts in the Mike McCarthy thread made me revisit this and I think it's important to bring up again.

I am wondering if his ankle is still bothering him from last year, or did he just get into such a bad habit with his foot work with the injury that he can't do it anymore. Basically saying maybe the injury retrained his thought process with his feet.
I have no clue right now but he surely isn't even close at accuracy as he has been in past years.

Dude needs to reacquaint himself with fundamentals, on every level.

The man says he desperately wants to be coached, so, who's not coaching him?
