greengold;333332Man he got MUGGED on that 50yd DPI play!

Nah. The pass was underthrown, Newman never intended to interfere but Janis tangled himself on Newman practically forcing the flag. This all happened just because it happened so I'd say it was a lucky break for us.

I could see it go either way, but I have to admit I do like the fact we had Janis use his speed and stretch that defense.

Janis tried to come back for it but Newman hugged him because he never turned his head around.
If he doesn't interfere Janis has a good shot at catching it.

No, watch the play, Janis actually entangles himself on Newman and then motions back for the ball. There was no chance to catch that because it was a bad throw.

That's what I saw.
Refs saw it also.

Yep, he could have caught it and with momentum could have crossed the field and outran everyone too.
At least they scored on the drive regardless.

So anyway I've got an idea, lets start limiting Hyde's snaps (if he returns, I personally would rather see Banjo at S and Rollins at CB) and start giving Datone more snaps (dude looked great rushing from inside AND OLB).
I know Dom is completely in love with Hyde but if someone fails often enough at some point you give a new guy his shot.
Also, Shields making open field tackles and Nate Palmer hasn't sucked the last 2 weeks... what's up with that?

I like him but Hyde is just so frustrating to watch. He is alway in perfect position to make a play and the ball zooms like two inches beyond his hands. Technically, he seems to be very sound, always in position. But man, he just gets beat repetitively.

Maybe some of it is scheme, Dom putting him in position to fail? I don't know but I'd be happy to see Rollins, Banjo, or Gunter get some of his snaps.

I'm just glad that I was wrong and the Packers won.
Now....how many drops did our WRs have? Cobb especially. Without those drops we score more points.
Our defense? Wow!
Adrian Peterson held to 45 yards? And 6 sacks?
Our D saved the day!
And Crosby hitting 5 field goals!
On to "Da Bears!"

Heroes: The Green Bay Packers, for winning this big game.
Goat: Me for doubting they could do it.
