Cheesey;360932I will ALWAYS be
a Packer fan till I die.
But they are wasting a rare chance to win another title before we return to the 70's and 80's .
We have AR, and are wasting his talent by not getting players on offense and defense to put us over the top.
We need a GM that cares more about championships then saving a buck.
What does giving up "the future" of a few seasons to win a super bowl now?
Especially if you arn't going to do anything in the near future anyway, as Rodgers will be gone and you may not have another great QB for MANY years?
He's near the end of his career. And looks like he's already slipping.
It may be too far gone already to turn it around.
Might be very soon that beating the Bears will once again be the high point of our season like it was when I was in my teens.

A sad waste of talent.

With Rodgers playing the way he is now and the injuries we constantly suffer every single year, we could have double the salary cap of any other team and we still wouldn't win the super bowl.

I grow tired of hearing about how we should all be thankful because they sucked in the 70s and 80s. That has nothing to do with the expectations of the current team. Am I glad they are contenders on a regular basis - yes, but I also feel that there should be at least one more trophy in the case.

Conservative coaching has cost us huge in the postseason. When the name of the game is go big or go home - go fucking big! Up by 2 possessions - score and make it 3! Foot on the gas until the game is over. A team is generally a reflection of their head coach - If you don't have the desire to crush your opponents, then you might as well go find a new job.

That point brings me to Aaron. While we all know he is very talented, he also has been looking like anything but his former self. When they show him on the sidelines - he doesn't appear to be interested in the game. When he is on the field, he gets pissed at his receivers even though he overthrew them by 5 yards. I find it hard to watch games anymore because of our drama queen QB. He needs to get his head out of his ass!

The lack of free agent signings/trades is pitiful - there is absolutely no reason to avoid avenues that can bring additional talent. Spend a few bucks and get this roster loaded up! It is ridiculous that every year we have positions in need of improvement, yet Ted would rather use a late round pick to fill the spot rather than sign a proven free agent. Don't get me wrong - draft picks are highly important, but there are other ways to top the roster off.

While I am glad to see Ted made a trade to get us a badly needed RB, this guy was buried on the Chiefs depth chart (aka cheap). Spiller is a guy that has a decent track record, but in usual Ted fashion - C.J. found a job elsewhere. While I am not sold on this trade - at least Ted did SOMETHING this time.
