Although our record isn't the greatest, it shows that we have had great opportunities to win nearly every game. With performances like that, it is very plausible that this team can get back to where they got last year. If we win this game and the game against the Panthers I would have to say we're the second best team in the NFC.
There's not a column for near-losses. A loss is still a loss. To be a complete team, the Packers need to find a way to close out those close games in their favor. There's no way we'd do well in the playoffs if we don't finish. I hope the Packers clean up their act and run the table.

This is a game we should win, looking at all the factors, it should spell a victory for the Packers.
To me, this will be a barometer for the remainder of the season, can we win games that we should win.
The Saints are a sieve on defense, and with Bush out are not the threat they were before.
If we come out, take care of business early in this game, I will be pretty excited for the remainder of the season and the possibilities in the post season.
If we stumble, look flat and fill the stats sheet with yellow markers, then it will be more of the same roller coaster ride. One that will not look very pleasant come playoff time.
Take care of business boys and continue the ascent.
