It was his funeral today, I was upset but I remembered all the lovely things he did in his life and I do miss him but he was such a lovely man.

I think that are the most important things you can hold on to. In some way, it also keeps him alive, if you know what I mean.

As long as there is someone around to love and miss you, you are never really gone.
Be thankful you had him in your life. When you are up against a situation, ask "What would he do?" and try to do the same. Obviously this man was a great influence on you. He will live on through you as you honor his memory by also being a great man. He showed you by his actions what kind of a person he was.
Make it your goal that when it comes your time to leave this earth, that there are many left behind that feel about you as you feel about him.
