Sorry, that is bullshit. Fans aren't there just for the good times, good fans are there ALL the time. We sucked in the 70's and 80's and still were loud.
We have grown spoiled, that's the bottom line.
We see a good play and bemoan it should have been better, if X wouldn't have happened the play wouldn't have happened. We don't appreciate anymore.
