Nonstopdrivel;429061The Packers will finish better than 10-6 for the first time since 2014. And now we root for a Rams loss!
And now we root for a Rams and Cardinals win!
(Cus Seahawks and 49ers are basically tied for the #1 seed (Sehawks have tie breaker), and they're either facing the Rams or Cardinals)... then the Seahawks and 49ers face each other... so we need whomever wins that game, to loss next week at the first least to have any shot at the #1 seed.
I think Seahawks vs 49ers will be the last game in week 17... with the winner getting the #1 seed, division and bye week, and the loser being forced on the road to face the winner of the NFC East (or the loser, as none of them have shots at Super Bowl and getting to the playoffs will kill their draft pick, which they really could use).

On five consecutive possessions, the Packers punted. They earned one first down and ran 18 plays for a total of 24 yards.

Does anybody know of an explanation of the boneheaded call on the last play of the first half?

Here's an interesting comment.
Ryan Schlipp has the Packernet podcast. In talking about yesterday's game he pointed out that the 13 points Chicago scored was the 3rd fewest points all season. (They also had the fewest,3, in the first game.) While the 21 points GB scored doesn't seem like very much and they certainly had chances to score more, was the 5th most points Chicago gave up all year.
If Someone had blocked Kwiatkoski and Rodgers simply threw the ball away they just might have made a 44 FG instead of punting. 24 points would have been the 2nd most points scored against the bares this year.
All in all it was not as terrible of a game as it feels like. I know every team can point to 3-4 plays and say, "what if".
