During the 2019 season the Packers got manhandled by the @49ers. Packers faced @49ers in the championship game and it was a repeat of the regular season.
During the 2020 season the Packers got manhandled by the @Buccaneers. @Packers face Buccaneers in the championship game and I fear it'll be a repeat.
Lambeau Field could be the difference maker for the Packers. The Buccaneers have really face LB's and the Packers seem to try toss plays and stretch runs a lot. Those don't work well against fast LB's. You have to run inside zone against them and be patient.

Every Packer player knows what's on the line, and that they need to bring their "A" game. Hopefully our Special Team/Kicking Team does their job. NEVER GIVE THEM A SHORT FIELD, put the ball in the end zone on all kick offs and if they ever have to punt, punt the ball to one of the sidelines, no run backs. I have the Packers winning, 30-20

The Buccaneers defense reminds me of the 2011 Packers defense. It needed turnovers to be special and without turnovers, they were just another guy.
Misc
3rd Down Efficiency
Packers Offense 2nd
Buccaneers Offense 11th

Defense Wins Championships
The Packer's offence will face a good Tampa Bay defense in the NFC Championship game, but the Packer offence is not the same squad that only scored 10 points back on Oct. 18th. The Buccaneers will face an offence firing on all cylinders. In fact, I fully expect Aaron Rodgers will be named this seasons League MVP.
The deciding factor in this game will boil down to weather GB can put Tom Brady on his ass all game long. Allowing him to stand comfortable in his O-Line provided pocket will result in him carving up the Packer defense a chunk at a time. Yes TB will also run the ball, but their success/failure rest with their #12. Cover the WRs/TEs, stuff the run, and mix defenses all you want, but history proves that unless you harass, chase, sack, bat balls, and stay in Tom Brady's face the entire game, he will find a way to beat you. Blitzes from every direction must rush Brady, harass Brady, force Brady out of his pocket, sack Brady, and bat down Brady's passes. If possible force him to fumble the ball. Tom Brady should regret that he ever stepped onto Lambeau Field. The #1 item on the Packer Defense game plan needs to be keep Bady on his ass. It is the only proven way to beat Tom Brady.

The Packers just whipped the #1 defense in the Rams.
So, they shouldn’t be overwhelmed with Tampa.
That said, once again the Packers have to bring their A game. The 4 turnovers killed the Saints. Without that, Tampa probably loses. Bree’s doesn’t have the arm strength that Rodgers has. The INTS Tampa had, the ball traveled slowly and allowed for the DBs to make up ground. Rodgers gets the ball their faster.
Our D needs to get after Brady consistently. If he gets comfortable, he can kill you. He’s a statue in the pocket, so he’s not much of a scrambling threat.
This should be a lot different then the last time these teams met.

I think too many are putting too much into the Rams #1 thing... the NFL is all about lots of individual matchups... and just the Rams being #1 (after getting to beat up on the struggling offenses in the NFC East and AFC East) doesn't mean they're the best matchups against the Packers.
Packers have struggled most against teams that can stop the run and have great LB play... the Buccaneers can stop the run and have great LB play, which hurts the Packers many different simply hot routes that they love if the other team is getting pressure which is why the Buccaneers defense owned the Packers early this year.
Also, a huge factor was Lazard was out injured, whole Adams and St. Brown were both just coming back from injuries themselves... so Packers WRs could potentially look a hell lot better than the last Buccaneers game, and/or their presence will open up the underneath stuff like RB and TEs routes.
On defense Packers couldn't stop the run to save their life at that point in the season, Clark was playing, but I'm pretty sure he was playing hurt, as that was probably the worst Clark has looked in the NFL early nthis season. And that set up play action and Brady had a field day with runs and play action. Just do what the Saints did, stop the run and play cover 2, rally to the ball... but don't turn the ball over.

wpr;436627I've seen a lot of fans asking on various media sources. My guess is unless the player has been hospitalized, the Packers won't talk about injuries until they have to.
Wednesday is 1st day mandatory reports need to be filed.
These are usually estimates becsuse most teams haven't been practicing on Wednesday.
We probably won't hear anything except the usual fp dnp statuses yhis week.
I will be watching the waiver wire to see if The Packers bring in another kicker.
Thry do that,
then Crosby's inkury
may be bad enough to keep him out.

Lambeau Field
15 -20 Thousand fans(apprx)
Overcast, temps in mid 20's at kick off, chance of snow.
A 23 yr old Brady no problems
A 33 yr old Brady no problems
A 43 yr old Brady......we'll see.
Packers just put up 30 points on The #1 defense in the NFL.
No reason they can't do it again this week.
Win the turnover battle.
Don't LOSE Special Teams.
Success!!
Packers 31
Tampa Bay 28
BOOK IT!!

As someone else mentioned, that's not really relevant. The Packers have had troubles against teams with fast LB's and I believe Devin White ran a 4.4. The Packers need to run up the middle and be effective in doing so. What I'm saying is we need healthy motivated AJ Dillon.
This worries me. 😨
Bucs are designating DT Vita Vea for return from injured reserve.
