Bozz is right.
It's already been pointed out that Favre only has 12 last-second game-winning drives in his entire CAREER.
Some of you guys are as impatient as my two-year-old sons, and make about as much sense.

It actually wouldn't surprise if me if rather than outright firing Sanders, they simply reshuffle him and find him a new role in the organization.

I agree... I think Sanders is gone as well. All the things you listed... the predictability we have on defense in addition to the overall simplicity of its nature ran its course here. I hope they search someone more aggressive and smarter.
McCarthy also needs a severe kick in the ass. Just too mellow. I don't know if its his new baby that has just worn him out, but he doesn't look like he could rally anyone in a slump.

"TexasPackerFan""dhazer""Cheesey""Nonstopdrivel"Believe it or not, I actually agree with dhazer on this point.
The comparison is fair because Rodgers is the quarterback management decided to put on the field this year. Therefore, it makes sense to compare his output with that of the options that were available to management, regardless of how much experience they may or may not have had.
Well then, if you want to DO that, compare Favre's stats versus Rodger's stats.
All the rest of what happens falls on the rest of the TEAM, doesn't it?
I'm talking about the final 5 minutes of a game and Rodgers hasnt done much to prove he has the it factor, I was going to do Favre from last year because they have the same wrs and rbs and pretty much same o-line. But you complained about the experience Brett has so i would do Cassell because both him and Rodgers have been in there system for a few years to learn it. I guess no matter what you won't admit Rodgers doesn't have it in the final 5 minutes of a game. But i'll do them stats this week just out of curiosity for others. Because honestly i have no clue what they will look like. And btw just cuz i'm not sold on Rodgers how does that make me a Favre lover? Hell i would be happy to have Graham Harrell in Green Bay.
+1 this is what I've been trying to say. We may be #1 in the NFL in 4th quater scoring but I'm wonder after the 2min warning. Also does anyone have Rodgers stats during the the last 2mins when we're down and a need a score to win.
I like Rodgers and I think he's gonna be an awesome QB but he's gotta be able to close out a game in the last few mins of a game when we're down. Sure our D put us in that spot and it sucks that it then becomes up to him to save the game but that's part of the job as starting QB.
Our D is simply killing us this season but so many of our loses have been within reach in the last few mins of the 4th we just can't get it done on offense.
i posted the stats for the last 5 minutes of a game earlier in the thread.

I get what you are saying but the only player available to management when they made rodgers the starter was craig nall.
Anybody who honestly thinks Favre had a chance of coming back after retiring and saying things like I'm done and I don't want to play anymore, my heart isn't in it, etc... isn't being very realistic.
