It will be interesting to see how Jones and Dillon do facing the #1 rush defense. Especially running behind the beat up OL.

ESPN's rankings:

3. Green Bay Packers (10-3)
Previous ranking: 2

Offense: 2
Defense: 16
Special teams: 30

The offense is dominant, the defense has been serviceable and the special teams are a disaster. Sunday's win over the Bears was a microcosm of the Packers' season and these rankings: Green Bay gave up a 97-yard punt return for a touchdown in the first half and allowed Chicago to recover an onside kick in the fourth quarter, yet the Packers scored 45 points and returned an interception for a score. If the Packers don't get the third part fixed, though, it could ruin their season. -- Rob Demovsky

10. Baltimore Ravens (8-5)
Previous ranking: 6

Offense: 17
Defense: 14
Special teams: 2

The Ravens lead the AFC North with a middle-of-the-pack offense and defense because both sides have carried them at times this season. The lack of consistency is the result of the Ravens losing seven starters to season-ending injuries this season. The defense has been the strongest part of the Ravens over the past month. If Lamar Jackson (ankle) and the offense can get back on track, Baltimore can reach the playoffs for a fourth straight year. -- Jamison Hensley

The bares ST is 6th. So
kickoff team: ball in the endzone. No returns.
punt team: Kick the ball more than 20 yards and put it out of bounds. No returns.
FG team: Block the other guys.
KO team: let the ball go out of bounds when the opportunity is there. Otherwise if the ball is in the EZ, take a knee.
Punt return team: Fair catch. Emphasis on the word "catch".

Sounds like even if Jackson plays, he'll have limited mobility.

Also in these types of situations, why are they the #1 running defense? Because their running defense is so good? Or because their passing defense is so bad that teams don't even try to run it?

I remember in the last two weeks the narrative asking the Baltimore head coach why they went for two point conversion to win or lose the game (which they missed and lost) instead of taking the extra point after touchdown.

Head coach said because they had no more healthy CBs... they were thin entering the game and had a couple injured during the game. And didn't want any more injuries and were sure the defense could hold up should they lose the coin toss.

So the passing game might have a huge day... and they'll run less because of it, and maybe be less effective as well.

It's just the highlights, but watching their last game highlights, the backup almost looks better than Jackson... but that could be very misleading, but he seemed to move the ball better.

Of course the other team probably game planned for Jackson and not the backup, but still.

According to Matt Schneidman (whom worded this horribly),

Rams WR Van Jefferson score a TD against his father's coached Cardinals on Monday (Van's dad, Shawn, is Arizona's WR coach),

After seeing this, Packers WR coach Jason Vrable texted WR Amari Rodgers, that this is his week to score a TD on his father's team (Amari's father is Ravens WR coach Tee Martin).

Cobb was getting all Amari's reps, so his development has been stunted. Matt will for sure get him some packages, special routes, get him going with confidence. 👍

Dude could be a weapon. Give him something to do other than return punts. Has Winfree ever fielded punts?

Cool, because the winning strategy is to contain him, force him to win with his arm. Not to jinx lol
