According to numerous sources, Tom Brady is close to signing with the New York Jets.

Last week, Jets General Manager Joe Douglas reached out to Don Yee, Tom Brady's agents and negotiations began.  Yesterday, Brady and Yee visited with owner Woody Johnson along with  Douglas the Jets  facility in Florham Park, NJ.

For weeks, it had been speculated that The Jets would be signing Packer’s quarterback Aaron Rodgers, but negotiations seem to have hit an impasse.

This development would significantly change the NFL landscape, the NFC East, as well as being problematic for the Green Bay Packers.

Upon hearing the news, Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson was audibly shocked.  “Wow, we were  looking forward to having Rodgers but this is a game changer for us.”

Rumors have it that Brady would sign a two-year team friendly contract.  This would give time for Wilson to learn and to develop under Brady who is viewed to be a great teammate.
