Okay....who won?
Haha...by the way, I hope we DON'T get Harrell or Crabtree.
We have much bigger needs.

We don't NEED him...that's the main thing.
We could use him, yes, but we need to fix the trenches.
I wouldn't be completely mad if we took him but dang, we need a DE/DT/OL.

I understand what your saying but sign Crabtree and have Jennings and Rodgers together for 5 years we would be awesome.

BTW UTAH is going to beat Alabama lol How about that SEC powerhouse now.
I say Utah should be national champions if they win they are the only undefeated team left.

If he's gonna draft on quality and the only player with an amazing amount of quality at pick 9 left is Crabtree, I think he's gonna trade back.

There's no reason to give a rookie WR millions of dollars if you look at our roster and I see some teams being desperate to get him if he's still around at 9, that would mean alot of picks. And pretty high ones this time.

I didn't manage to catch this bowl game, only saw one half in a game between Virginia Tech and.... some other team. Fiesta Bowl I think. Didn't look to great though, tbh. I guess these teams in the Cotton Bowl are in another league? I have no idea. Looking at the stats and hearing about the game, they seemed to be pretty good.

I think if Ohio State had shown the intestinal fortitude to shut down Texas on the last drive of the game, Utah might have come in second place in the final national championship balloting. As it was, Ohio State gave their fans yet another second-half bowl collapse, thus falling to an ignominious 0-4 over the past 4 years.

To get an idea of just how idiotic the BCS system is, NCAA Division I football is the only sport in the world in which a team can go undefeated and not be declared the champion. Think about that!

Still, it was pretty cool watching a QB-to-QB touchdown pass in the Fiesta Bowl. We would have seen a QB-to-QB 2-point conversion, too, had not both Pryor and the CB committed pass interferences on the same play.

Speaking of which, why the HELL did Ohio continue to put the ball in Pryor's hands, when it was obvious that it was Boeckmann making the big plays all night?
Every time Boeckmann completed a long, downfield pass, they immediately gave the ball back to Pryor, which signaled Texas to defend the run and stuff him for a loss.
It was some of the most idiotic play-calling I've seen in years.
Ohio State deserved to lose, in my opinion; they gave the friggin' game away.

It was also cool seeing a 26-year-old senior, married with a family, have a game for the ages. :D

Ohio State called those plays to mix things up.

Look, Boeckmann, even though has the pocket passing ability, is not very mobile.
If you saw the pass rush Texas put on the field, Boeckmann going against that would have been suicide.

I liked the play calling.
I just didn't like how Pryor looked like a true freshman.
A lot of his passes were off target.
You can't blame that on playcalling.

I will say this though..
Why in the world would you call a full man-to-man defense with less than 30 seconds left of the game when Texas is driving?
Play a guy DEEP!
Hell, play 2 or 3 guys deep!
That one play is what lost the game.
Not Ohio's offensive play calling (although it's offense sucked in the 3rd).
