This could have enormous geopolitical consequences.      It is very likely that Marine LePen, a right wing leader will gain political strength as she is viewed as going hard on emigres and would be viewed as the law and order candidate.

Her election would like lead to a Francxit and an end to the European Union, as well as all sorts of violence, IMO

I have friend who live in Paris and they are seriously contemplating leaving, at least for a while.

As an ancillary thought, I am glad we have the 2nd Amendment here so that those of us who are not young and strong can have a chance to defend ourselves and our property if/when the fertilizer hits the ventilator.
