It appears the Packers are no longer favorites.
Falcons -1.5 and over/under is 40.

Why did the line change?

I would guess Aaron Jones health would move the line, but not that much I think. I know last week when Watson was ruled out on Friday the line moved from -1 to -1.5.

Typically, if you don't practice Friday, you ain't playing Sunday. By that history, Aaron Jones is OUT for Sunday.

Bach didn't carry any designation week 1, he is listed as questionable, so he may not play.
My bet is they will be careful with him on the artificial turfs this season.
plenty of talent behind him.

Whether Jones plays or not, I see The Packers running the ball until Atlanta proves they can stop them.

A.J. Dillon will silence all the nay-sayers running for 80+yds, catching for 30+yds. with 2 scores

Mr. Cool, J10LVE will once again put up 225+ yds passing, with 1 td

Defense gets 2 turnovers, shuts down Falcon run game.

Take The Packers + the points, take the over.

Packers 33
Falcons 17

Book It!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel like I read maybe in The Athletic that Bakhtiari may straight up skip some games on risky turf.

C'mon! I said that same thing months ago. 🤦‍♂️ I gotta make you all pay to read my ramblings so it sticks in ya memory? 😁😁😁

The Athletic might be on to something. Based on comments he said during his interviews in offseason -- I got the sense he will be skipping some games to rest. And I speculate some of those games will be based on the turf.

With Bach not practicing at all, if he does sit out, whoever has been taking the practice reps (Walker or Nijman) should be more than ready.

Didn't the Bears line move further Bears right before the game? And now it's happening again?

My guess would be they're moving to the other team as the bets are coming in against the Packers and so they're just balancing it out. As scores aren't nessarily to get the score correct, but to balance the bets, if the bets are balanced, in theory the books (at least as I understand it, and just to be clear, I might know nothing about gambling) but my understanding if the bets are balanced, then the bookers win no matter which team wins.

As far as what moved the line, the only official items that I know of, are the Packers coverage ILB got cleared from concussion, and the Falcons coverage ILB got a concussion and was then ruled out for the game. But those would of moved the line the other way.

Also they say Slit film turf is the worst, currently used by Vikings, Saints, Colts and Bengals. The Lions, Giants and Jets recently got rid of it, for new "improved" turf, though some looking at Rodgers injury might disagree.

I believe the Giants/Jets got the same stuff that the Falcons have.

Other than that, the only other noteworthy thing is OT Bakhtiari is calling out the NFL and very specifically called out Roger Goodell, so conspiracy theories would be suggesting the refs will screw the Packers (especially if it's the Packers offensive), as Bakhtiari is calling out the boss.
