Vikings lost a ton of close games early against pretty good teams because they kept fumbling the ball away. They're a lot better than their record, and OL has been pretty good, so if they take care of the ball, we're absolutely complaining about the defense after.

Question is, how will the offense look?

If it keeps looking the same, I think I might be on board with just firing all the coaches, the question for me will be, to keep or get rid of Gute?

I like Gute, but I don't trust him with linemen and that's absolutely what we need right now, and I don't trust any Packer with a 3rd round pick right now, those all seem to be wasted.

I don’t see the Packers firing any coaches during the season. If this offense continues to fail/get worse throughout the year though, I think LaFleur is gone. Or Love. Maybe both.

MSN reports:
Brian Flores’ Defense Finding Its Form

Inheriting one of the league’s most porous defenses from 2022, Brian Flores was asked to do more with less.
The Vikings parted ways with five starters including key contributors like pass rusher Za’Darius Smith, defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson, cornerback Patrick Peterson and inside linebacker Eric Kendricks.

The goal of the offseason was to get younger on defense, develop that talent in hopes that would elevate the defense despite a clear downgrade in personnel.

That mission appears to have progressed seven weeks into the season with Flores’ defense finding its form as of late.

The Vikings have allowed an average of 291.3 yards of offense in the past four games. Turnovers have swung in Minnesota’s favor with six turnovers forced by the defense in the past two games.

That’s resulted in back-t0-back wins for the first time this season, including a 19-13 defensive struggle against the Chicago Bears that required a fumble return touchdown from Jordan Hicks to seal the game.

Those types of plays have the marks of a winning team, which Minnesota, at 3-4, is still proving it can be after a slow start to the season.

Monday’s win over San Francisco was a glimpse at what a complete game can look like from this team, where the defense was just as responsible for the results as the offense.

Sounds like Stokes (hamstring) and Savage (calf) are being placed on the IR list

Bring replaced
by CB Ballitine off the Packers PS and supposedly have signed CB Robert Rochell off the Panthers PS.

Rochell was drafted by the Rams in 2021 with a 4th round pick. But couldn't make his 3rd year with the team.

Then 20 days on the Seahawks PS, before being released and then joined the Panthers PS.

Wonder if they just picked up the highest drafted PS CB whom has never played for the Bears lol jk

La Fleur will be back next season, what decent HC wants the job without a good qb?
