packerfanoutwest;460368La Fleur will be back next season, what decent HC wants the job without a good qb?
We lost by two points.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Let's face it, we stink.
Coming into the year, we had a decent team on paper, in a league with a great amount of parity.
But the margin of error is very thin, we are well outside that margin
With the injuries to key performers, Bakhtiari, Jones, Jenkins, Watson, Stokes, Alexander, Savage, and Campbell, from a personnel perspective, we are not good....no that's not fair....we stink.
And we weren't exactly dominant when all of them were healthy.
We have been on a great ride for 2+ decades, and now we are going to stink his year.
We have to be big boys and girls and deal with it.
Of course we don't like it, but that just the way it is.
In a strange way, perhaps this take some pressure off of Love who can get a season worth a reps with a team which now, objectively should have low/no expectations.
Let's find the warriors and performers in the group, get health and retool to show something later in the year and into next year.
I would rather stink for a year or two and build to a Super Bowl contender.
We have not been a legitimate contender for a couple of years not.

Just about all of them that currently don't have currently have a head coaching job...
Only 32 NFL head coaching jobs in the entire world, they're extremely in demand, even the ones with bad situations.
Once in a while you'll hear a guy turn a job down, usually if they think it's a bad fit management/ownership wise, or a former successful head coach retired and turns one down as it's not enough money. But it's pretty rare.

I think we had a decent team on paper with us fans wrongly assuming the lines would be the strengths of the team, when in reality they're clearly the weaknesses of the team.
I think that's on us for horrible evaluating our linemen, both in terms of us as fans, but also Gute as he's sunken a lot of draft capital into lines and hasn't gotten much out of it this year.
And yes, there is Jenkins, but that was an inside job with Luke Getsy being his offensive coordinator in college. And yes there is Tom, but I was saying Tom could be the next Bakhtiari well before his draft and they selected Rhyan before Tom, so got lucky another team didn't grab Tom.
Gute's best first linemen selected that didn't have an inside source now on the Packers have been Runyan and Slaton, which are good values for where they were selected, but I think a strong case could be made that their best spots would be as backups.
So far, neither Runyan nor Slaton have ever finished a season with a PFF grade of 65.0 or higher, which is deemed average starter. Though Runyan got extremely close in 2021, and Slaton is pretty close this year, currently rankings as #32 highest graded DT with at least 203.5 snaps (50% of the guy with the most snaps).
Note: Wyatt is currently above 65.0, at 65.1... but he was a 1st round pick and only currently has 192 snaps, so he's getting more of a breather than Slaton or Clark and based on stats, I'd say Wyatt is strongly focusing on pass rush, best pass rush grade (BY FAR) but also worse run defense grade (sadly not by much).
Speaking of which, Slaton is at 236 snaps and Clark is at 296 snaps.
Slaton is the only one with a run defense grade of over 65.0. Wyatt, Wooden and Brooks might as well be pass rush specialist... it's just Slaton and Clark that might have a chance at stopping the run.

Its going to take more than a year or two to turn this team into SB caliber.

unless this team knows how to pull a rabbit out of their helmet, they will score less than 10 pts

None. What does not being a rookie have to do with having a SB talented team? We dont have one, rookies or not.
Our Oline is bad, QB is not looking promising. Our TEs are not used enough to even evaluate. Our coaches are bad. Our CBs are supposebly our strength on D yet they constantly play under par. Our Dline is probably our best and most promising position. We dont even have a #1 WR and the rest are still too young to judge.
Like i said, we are far from being a SB contender. We are probably a couple of years away from being a playoff contender and thats it.
