I expected Jared Goff to have fumbled snaps, errant passes, etc ... not Jordan Love.

We know now Elgton Jenkins shouldn't ever play center, ever again.

The constant talk about how amazing Jared Goff is playing kind of annoyed me. The play caller was putting him in places to succeed. Meaning, not many passes beyond 10 yards of line of scrimmage. This was smart because Goff has issues in rain. And the play calling minimized that.

The Lions put together a good plan for a rainy game - I can't fault them for that. Goff isn't that great of a QB, but the coaching staff scheme around that and set him up for success via easy throws.
Sometimes I wish our staff would lean into that a bit more, especially when the offense sputters.

our record is deceptively strong.

We played the Rams without their two top receivers and they are a much better team now than when we played them.

We played the Colts without Deforest Bukner and with an idiot quarterback that they have since benched.

we are a mediocre team with a quarterback who is being paid top-tier money who's playing at a very mediocre level.

The only positive surprise for the year is the Defense is better than expected despite our all pro pansy cornerback.

You mention the injuries to the enemy, and their excuses. Why not sprinkle in what adversity the Packers have faced? I feel we've had some starters miss time and games too. I could be mistaken.

our starters were available against Philadelphia.

In all other cases, the opponents mentioned were missing more significant pieces than we were.

we are a mediocre team that is somewhat overachieving on defense

They should have started Willis in my opinion.
He's healthy, and makes better decisions.
And when they didn't start him, why didn't they put him in when it was obvious Love couldn't get it done?
When something isn't working,
why not at least try something else?
Just because
Love is paid huge money, isn't a reason to keep him on the field, especially when it's such an important game.
That's MLFs fault. You play to try to win.
Not to appease your over paid QB.
JMO of course.
