wpr;468204I was telling my wife how frustrating it is when Love is consistently off with his throws. 3rd string QBs can come in in the middle of a game and make on target throws that Love is missing. Love ain't "him". He is just an average QB.

He makes some really damn good throws. I just don't know why it takes him so many passes to get on target. Favre had a similar issue and Holmgren would call a lot of short little passes to get him going. Favre's issue though was he was too amped up. I don't think that is the issue with Love.

Well we are now the 7 seed. Gotta hope the commies lose next week and we win in order to get the 6. And they play the cowboys so that is unlikely.

Losing Zayne (left after 11 snaps) hurt defense more than I expected. It forced Bullard back to Safety and he's much more impactful at Nickel. He did lead the team in tackles, but not sure you want your Safety who isn't at the line of scrimmage leading in tackles.

At some point in the game I thought to myself, "Wait, did losing Zayne Anderson of all people screw up our game plan on defense?!" And it's like, yeah, thanks to musical chairs in the secondary, it did.

I posted something like that in Chat when I popped in. I said something like somehow losing Zayne had our defense out of whack.

So much for our great depth.

I think Evan Williams is the starter, and Zayne the backup, so, I mean, not really horrible depth if your 3rd in line can't be a rockstar. I think it's more shuffling chairs that hurts the team than anything. We take someone who is good at X and then move them to Y. So, instead of one position weak, we weaken multiple.
