If Jaire Alexander can be even 80% -- SUPER BOWL BABY!!
https://packerswire.usatoday.com/2024/12/31/highlighting-the-jaire-alexander-effect-on-packers-pass-defense-in-2024
When Alexander is on the field this season, the Packers have allowed seven touchdown passes and intercepted eight passes while giving up a 61.0 completion percentage and a 77.5 passer rating. The completion percentage would rank second best among all teams; the passer rating would be the best in the NFL by almost five points. Basically, the Packers were an elite passing defense with Alexander.

When Alexander has been on the field, they have also faced some of the worst offenses making their stats look better when Alexander has been there.
And Alexander has missed the games against most of the better offenses that we have faced.
So, while Alexander can certainly be elite, I don't think the numbers are just about Alexander, but also whom we were facing.

Zero2Cool;468230Did you watch the press conference or just read quotes? I ask because LaFleur almost always starts his answers with "Yeah". It's been a little super minor pet peeve of mine since day one with the guy.
Yes I did. That’s what I got out of watching it and seeing his tone.
And the “yeah” thing bothers me too lol. But I think Jordan Love’s “yeah no” at the start of every sentence is worse. Christian Watson does it too.

What a shame they didn’t do this sooner. Maybe they could’ve had him back for the playoffs.

I think the goal is to always avoid surgery if at all possible. So, I can definitely see someone thinking they can heal up and then going whooa nelly maybe not

In all professional sports they seem to be slow to use the knife unless they absolutely have to.
What a pity JA couldn't get past it.
