Second, I'm too lazy to go online and see who coaches the defensive line, but whoever does really needs a wake up call.
The angle of attack by our edge rushers is horrendous, especially to the throwing side.
Our guys, including our blitzers constantly undershoot the quarterback going to close to the line of scrimmage and instead of going to the quarterbacks throwing arm. If the quarterback is to escape an edge rush you want him to have to step up into the pocket, not go around you.
This has happened repeatedly in the last two weeks, and in fact all season.
I fear Hurts will do this all game to us.
That would be Jason Rebrovich who has been in the league a while but constantly bounced around as a position coach on different staffs.

Found this tweet a few months ago and stuck it in my back pocket because I found it interesting. Didn't post it before because I wanted to see more but now I have.

What an excellent find Mucky.
Thanks.
Additionally, Hafley has to see what is going on, and he chose him, so he needs to correct it.
As well as
hand placement, pad level, swim technique,
stab technique, and many other things.

I did a long write up of the Edge Rushing coaches whom has their head coaches fired and then it did a refresh on me 😔
Short version,
We have a DT coach that came with Hafley from Boston College, so I prefer to call the other coach aht we are talking about the DE or Edge Rusher coach, instead of DL coach.
Bears defensive coordinator has mostly been a DL coach
Patriots DL coach is from the Packers.
Jets DL coach might have Robert Salah (spelling) backing.
Some others that I'm forgetting...
Saints have a pass rush specialist coach that is a former player.
Also not on the DL side, but Saints also have former All-Pro OG Jahri Evans assisting the OL which might be interesting.
Jaguars defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen has been coordinator or DL coach for the Jaguars, Falcons and Saints in recent years and seems to have a great reputation. If he's willing to be a DL coach again, he might be the most interesting coach, but he also might be over qualified and get a Coordinator opening first.
