As always, it depends on price, but in general (most of these guys would be in the cheap end of the pay scale)
I want back
K Brandon McManus,
LB Eric Wilson, (cheap deal)
LB Isaiah McDuffie, (cheap deal)
CB Corey Ballentine, (cheap deal)
CB Robert Rochell, (Cheap deal)
TE Tyler Davis (Cheap deal, or one based on his snap counts to protect from injuries)
Save money to re-sign key members of the 2022 Draft Class next year:
Such as
RT Tom
LT Walker
WR Watson
WR Doubs
DT Wyatt
DE Enagbare
ILB Walker
RG Rhyan
Extra Thoughts:
The Packers seem to really trust Myers and there
don't seem to be great options in UFA nor the draft, so I could see the Packers re-signing Myers for more than fans think he's worth.
Nothing against DT Slaton, I just don't believe Slaton is the type of DT skill that they're looking for in this scheme, as they seem to be looking for more pass rushers than run stoppers.
I've given CB Stokes a lot of crap for just lack of ability in tackling, to his credit, he came back and proved me wrong there, and his tackling looked way better than I thought he could. Though he still doesn't have much interest in run defense and struggled to cover. I wouldn't mind them bringing him back, but as a body, they need to attempt to upgrade.

Seems like the Packers (at least publicly) are very happy with C Josh Myers, and my guess we shouldn't be surprised if they re-sign him to a deal that shocks fans and sends them into an outrage.

The timing seems odd; if they're that high on him and want to keep him around, why not an extension last off season or during the year? Why allow him to potentially hit the market and drive up his price? If other teams have lukewarm interest and don't offer much, is it a good idea to bring him back?
(This is all assuming Gute actually wants Meyers back and not just blowing smoke up Meyers ass on his way out)

Because with a few exceptions of star players or dirt cheap players, teams rarely extends their non-stars early, that's just wasteful spending, especially if they get a serious injury during the year.
They can drive their market up, but they can also drive it down. Why throw money at something before you have to?

I guess they
think Myers is better than average,
and better than most of the posters here think.
I would bet he is a good locker room guy, and tries to mentor the young-ins.
I can't on one hand complain about to many young players and at the same time lament if they slightly overpay for him.
I continue to assert that if we had 5 guys as good as him at their positions, we would have a strong O-Line

I'll have to be honest here. I haven't really watched Center much. I've been watching the Guards and Tackles when looking at OL. And I still think Zach Tom is a bit over rated by us Packers fans. He's good RT, but seems we think he's elite. He's getting help from a chipping TE quite a bit.
Matt LaFleur said Jordan Love "really trusts" Josh Myers. I'm not sure what that means. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but it almost came off like Jordan might not trust someone on the OL.

Martha Careful;468430I continue to assert that if we had 5 guys as good as him at their positions, we would have a strong O-LineI completely disagree, LT Walker is clearly better than C Myers, and you complain about Walkers lack of run blocking all the time, and Myers is even worse.
And Walker is better in pass protection than Myers.

IMO one of the top 3 RTs in the NFL last year.

One of the reasons they supposedly drafted Myers was that Ohio State makes the Center make all the lines calls, and the Packers did that as well.
So I read it as, either trust him with snapping the ball, cadence and/or trusting him to make important line calls of where the blocking is going. More the mental aspect of making OL adjustments to different fronts which we certainly need as long as the Vikings defensive coordinator is in the division.
