My understanding is that Stewart is upset over "default language" in the contract that can void guaranteed money and that the Bengals want it because of 2024 non-first round pick having a slew of off the field issues last year. Stewart, who has no history of off the field issues, feels like this is unnecessary and unfair to him and all he wants is a contract that has no default language in it like previous 1sr rounders.
