Thank you all for your kind words, means a lot.
And foster-son, I will take that 5 dollar bet. I shall dedicate the remainder of my life to ensuring that any grandchild of mine shall not be "turned to the Darkside".
Since my sons wedding is only a little over
a week away, I am soliciting funds for the "vikesrule is going to the poorhouse, cause his son is marrying a cheesehead" account.
(just kidding)
Still can't believe that she showed up at my house one day wearing a Greg Jennings jersey......arrrrrggghh!
Sidenote: RaiderPride has decided to pass on the interview at this time, so I nominated (and sent a PM ) to warhawk.

Vikesrule, if you can coexist on this forum with us, than you can coexist with your cheesehead daughter in law.
Just grin and bear it.
Surely shes a nice girl even as a Packer fan.

Great interview Nick
I am so sorry to hear you lost your wife.
You had me choking up there.

First, I want to congratulate you on 25+ years. Alcoholism hits home hard for me and when I see others recovering from it with continued success it makes me smile.
Also, you've been 'watching' me for several years and some of the comments/compliments you've given me privately meant a lot to me. A lot of times when ones effort to be better goes unnoticed; it can be hard to continue the process. But when someone you don't expect has taken notice and brings it to your attention it gives you motivation to keep it going.
I'm glad to have you on this website, even though I must decline your request that you have in your signature. ;)

Thanks for the words Kevin.
I always liked this quote:
Show me someone who has done something worthwhile, and Ill show you someone who has overcome adversity
~Lou Holtz
You have matured and done well
over the past few years...keep it up!
As to the "sig" ....in the words that you have often used......bite me! :whipitgood:

Vikes - So sorry about your wife.
My family is the #1 thing to me and can't imagine what that would be like.
Despite your silly colors, you're still one of my favorite posters here (as is Formo).
5) What was your first job?
Lifeguard.
Now that is a great job for a teenage guy. Sitting up there in the chair, my cool mirror sunglasses on, watching all the fine nubile young ladies.
Dang.
My first job was going door to door and selling newspaper subscriptions.
I definitely chose the wrong one there.
7) Could you tell us one of your favorite memories of the Packers?
Well, the 70's and 80's were pretty good, and then the 2005 Packers season is right up there.
The Vikes knocking the Packers out of the playoffs at the end of the 2004 season, and then watching the Packers go 4-12 in 2005 was sweet!
The Packers 2008 season was pretty good too, 6 -10, gotta love it.
I'll have to tell Mrs. Z to scratch you from our Christmas card list.
:pottytrain2:
17) What is one thing you've always wanted to do, but haven't done yet
in your lifetime?
Move to a tropical island, live off of fish and coconuts, and chase
naked native women.
Sounds fun.
I'll join you and buy a thong.
You'd see that and immediately leave, and I'd have the naked native women for myself.
:thumbright:
As for Tarkenton, I've always had the greatest respect for that guy.
He's my #1 example of greatness without an OL.
So fun to watch.
I remember he had every single passing record until Dan Marino came along.
Then of course BF, who I'm sure you love, broke Marino's records.
Great read.
EE is crazy.
Too much math.
I went CS and two semesters of Calc was more than enough for me.
