Technically, it doesn't matter.
I'm just trying to reduce clutter on the page.

Yea...I see what you're saying, I tried cutting it down by taking out some of the conversation from earlier but it made the post look messy.

just an update for anyone near minneapolis, there are still plenty of tickets available for this game starting at $65
Really?
Can anybody direct me to a legitimate online place to buy tickets?
I have never been to a game before and don't want to get scammed.

www.stubhub.com dude....best place in my opinion. I always get my tix from there for any sporting event.
edit* looking at stubhub right now, tickets are not that cheap. Don't know where the $65 tix are located my friend. Sorry.

Your only shot at landing $65 tickets would be the "Limited View" seats.
There are a handful around the metrodome in the upper 4 rows of the stadium, where the pillars are supporting the roof.
Problem is you don't know how much of your view is blocked...could be a corner of the end zone, could be 3/4 of the field.
The cheapest nose bleeds seats have been going from $150-$200.
I haven't checked in awhile though, perhaps prices have come down.
My advice - just stay away from the Metrodome.
It's not a very enjoyable place to watch a football game.
Your better off parking your Packer arses on the couch for this one.

I agree with Bloody.. the experience at the Humpty Dump isn't all that enjoyable as a fan to take in.
Once to the seats, it isn't horrible, but of the 6 stadiums I have seen games in, it ranks 6th in total experience as far as a venue.
Although, a couple years ago when they were begging people to come fill the joint and tickets were rock bottom cheap... you dealt with it. Paying a premium.. no thanks.

I'm going to start kicking babies if I hear that "Go Pack Go!" chant again inside the Metrodome.
Although we usually do a pretty decent job of drowning that out with "Go Back Home!", and then after the game "5 hour drive!, 5 hour drive!"...of course that only works if the Vikings win...which we all know is probably 50/50 (to be realistic and honest).

Yeah, I've never been to an NFL game, but I have been to some Twins and Gophers games back in college.
Maybe it's just me, but even though the stadium lights were on it always seemed like my eyes were straining through the darkness.
I hadn't really considered going to the game because I assumed it was sold out and tickets would be outrageous, but $65 would be a deal maker for me.

Dude...you need to get to an NFL game.
Blows baseball out of park.
Stay away from the dome on Monday though...enough of you Packer fans there already! :-)
