Man, how quickly those offensive and defensive rankings can skyrocket after playing the Lions!

Now that the Packers have signed my avatar's namesake, I have every
confidence they will dominate this game like the Visigoth hordes of old.
36-3 at halftime.
48-5 when it's all over.

Nonstop, I can't really blame McCarthy for running the ball after having the 26-0 lead over they Lions.
We need to get in a rythm with the running game.
Let's get in here and get out healthy, so we can start preparing for the Vikings.
Hopefully we get a good lead at halftime and we can pull the starters.
I don't want to see any vital parts of our team go down with season ending injuries against this team.
Oh, and lets not take this team lightly, as we did against the Bengals.
If we lose to this team, I will be PISSED.

It shall be interesting.

"PFTalk"Browns could get relief from NFL's swine flu policy
Posted by Mike Florio on October 22, 2009 7:11 AM ET
On Wednesday, Browns coach Eric Mangini said that the team doesn't know whether a dozen players currently suffering from the flu have the H1N1 variety.
Mangini also said that he's not sure whether the team would be able to disclose the ultimate answer to that question, due to privacy laws.
But based on the terms of the league's policy regarding H1N1, better known as "swine flu," the Browns will be able to use players from the practice squad only if six or more active players are suffering not from seasonal flu or stomach flu or blue flu or "I'm so hung over I'll just say it's the flu," but from the swine flu.
The procedure, as NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told the Associated Press, is as follows:
"If a club has at least six players unable to participate as the result of confirmed or suspected cases of swine flu, it can receive roster exemptions for those players and promote players from its own practice squad to replace them.
A club can receive a max of 8 such exemptions.
They must be medically confirmed cases of swine flu.
This procedure does not apply to any other type of flu or illness.
There is a deadline for promoting practice squad players pursuant to these procedures at four hours prior to kickoff."
On Wednesday, 12 Browns players missed practice with flu-like symptoms.
It remains to be seen whether any of them can return to practice -- or whether other players will be absent -- for practice on Thursday.
The Browns host the Packers on Sunday.

ya great ... now the spread is going to blow vs them.
Browns are still decent; but with the flu I'm not going to expect much from their team this sunday.
This is our 2nd practice game till we teach favre the meaning of life.
And this time he doesnt get to bring his refs along (least I hope).

"Formo""Nonstopdrivel"Think A.J. Hawk will lay the smack on Chad Johnson like good ole Ray Lewis did?
That would be a highlight video I'd keep!
You mean Ochocinco?
If that's the case, then A.J. missed his opportunity, as you guys are playing the Browns.
=P
Doesn't matter.
Hawk is not on the field enuf to do anything to anyone.

Maybe I shouldn't be, considering who we've played. Although I am. Somewhat surprised we're a top 10 offense and defense.

This week GB is at Cleveland, Chicago is at Cincinnati and and MN is at Pittsburgh.
What is up with the NFL schedule makers?
I am sick and tired of how the NFL does things.
All 3 of these games are on Fox. (Luckily the Chicago game is a late game.)
Why not have one of the 3 games scheduled for the NFC team's stadium so it will be on CBS?
The Suits must think every single game is interchangeable with every other game.
So instead of actually providing the fans with a choice they create conflict.
Northern IL was originally scheduled to get the MN game, fortunately the local station was able to change it to the GB game.
I see that Lima Ohio had to request the Cleveland game instead of the Pittsburgh game.
And as of now the northwest corner of WI has to watch the MN game.
It is as if the NFL goes out of their way to create as much conflict as possible.
Last week both GB and Chicago had their bye at the same time.
How difficult would it be to have teams in a geographic area have slightly different schedules?
Now I know it is hard to factor both MN and Chicago into the GB schedule but they could do a much better job than what they are doing now.

"Nonstopdrivel"I thought it was NFC games that are on Fox.
NFC vs NFC are on Fox (except for the Sunday nite and Monday nite games.)
NFC vs AFC games are on the network of the visiting team.
That way the AFC network gets to air a few games every year in the NFC cities which are for the most part larger markets than the AFC cities.
