"The_Green_Ninja"You SERIOUSLY used the old Arizona Cardinals logo. SERIOUSLY?
And the 'old' Lions logo was used twice, you said nothing. So, shut up.

Well, that is different. It was recent. But this change has been for a couple of years, so...

Hopefully it will be very uninteresting, due to McCarthy NOT playing the starters AT ALL!

Since there is a great chance that we play the Cardinals in the first round, does Capers game plan consist of any exotic plays where he only intends to use them for this game? Kind of like reverse psychology.
By the time our game starts we should already know who we are playing and since most likely it will be the Cards everyone thinks each team is going to play vanilla.

I feel like there can be such an advantage for the team who really takes the time to game plan well for this week.
This week is like a bunch of mind games. Do something different instead of playing vanilla ball.
Throw some blitzes and some trick plays in there that no one has seen so far this year.
Even if you don't intend to use them the following game against them in the playoffs. Just to keep the other coaches on their heels.
Not only will the other coaches have to worry about the plays they didn't see, they will also have to worry about game planning for the plays they just saw.
I feel like there is so much you can do this week as a coach to get inside of the other coaches head.

Game plan for this week should be:

Offense:
1.
The pass play.
2.
The other pass play.
3.
The run play.
4.
The other run play.

Defense:
1.
The basic base formation.
2.
The other basic base formation.
3.
The basic nickel formation.
4.
The basic dime formation.

Special teams:
1.
Kickoff often.
2.
Punt rarely.

The psych of the Cardinals:
McCarthy's laminated card for the week is a 3x3 post-it note.

I hope we win. But most important is to come out of the game healthy.

Play the starters for a half, don't give anything away, and win.

Well, the Giants packed it in a week early.

Time for a very vanilla gameplan.
