"dhazer"I'm worried about the lack of fear of
Kolb. He is being talked about in the same paragraph as Rodgers, both sat behind good quarterbacks to learn the system. Both have great wrs and a decent running game. I personally don't like our secondary up against their wideouts.
This game will be alot closer than people think, but we will get the win and I will be wearing my cheesehead with pride (also for protection ;)
)
If it's talk about being similar to Rodgers in year one, he's worse than Matt Cassel, so we have nothing to worry about.
Sorry, Dhazer.

I'm worried about our secondary and special teams. Still, it's Kolb's first game, if we get pressure on him our db's don't have to cover for a long time. So big things for me:
1) Offense get off to a fast, consistent start
2) Get pressure on Kolb
3) Special teams don't get dumb penalties, and act like you know what you're doing

No worries here, just glad that PACKER FOOTBALL IS BACK ON SUNDAY!!!
Lot of you need to relax and enjoy the game, there will be mistakes made, Philly no doubt will score some points, in the end it is just one of sixteen regular season games and as many have said before me..."You have to enjoy the journey"
Let the chips fall where they might.....Just try and enjoy the game for what it is....A Packer Football game.
btw......Packers 27-Iggles 23
mark it down!!!!!!

why are people saying this is his first start? He started
2 games last year and faired pretty well.
Game 1
31 of 51
391 yards 2 tds 3 ints
against the saints when the defense gave up 48 points
Game 2
24 of 34
327 yards 2 tds 0 ints
so its not his first start and he can put up big numbers

I'm glad we are getting them early. Yes, it's not Kolb's 1st start, but he has to be a bit nervous. Get to him early, and he will fold.

Man, good to be back! My brother's an Eagles fan and he constantly jabs me about the 4th and 26. I will never forget it :/. Ironically, McNabb is now a Skin and I also like to follow them as they're my hometown team haha
At least I'm looking forward to smoking the Eagles this week :D

Ok you got me
Seriously though, he did put up a lot of yards in those games but he also threw it 85 times, kinda hard not to.

How I have longed for THIS. 8 long months of analysing, reading, pondering and hoping. And here we are.
Bring that trophy back to it's rightful place, the TUNDRA.
I am with Buckeye though, I can't gauge a feeling about the game until kickoff, all I know is that I am going to enjoy this journey.

I always approach the first few games of the season with apprehension.
I am always very nervous that everything I thought I knew from preseason is out the window.
It isn't until the second or third game of the season when I have a better grip on my expectations for the team that I can actually start a game without butterflies.
My wife laughs at me (unless we play the Vikings, at which time she, a MN native, knows better than to be in the room).
