Site refused to load at 0900 this morning.

long lag at 7:40 pm central time

Freaking threads are dragging this morning.. anywhere from 10 seconds to 41 in the last 15 minutes.. yes I am timing them for ya. ;)

Yeah, I don't know what to do. I have quite a bit on my plate right now and I'm not sure if I can handle the chore of a full site move again.
I'm preparing for a site move during our bye week. It's just a lot harder than I want. Plus, I have to find an adequate host.

I do not recall this ever happening previously on the other host.


How would I test that specifically?

I repaired and optimized the database. We'll see if there's any improvement with a better set of indexing.

I wonder if that made a difference. The site feels really snappy now.

I don't know about anyone else.. but there definitely seems to be a difference in return speed.
