I don't even care, dude. Y'all can sit and pretend everything's going to be ok while watching the Packers play like shit in total peace now. Sit there watching your glasses-half-full slowly dripping on the ground until it's impossible to deny there's no liquid in the glass anymore.

The sheer number of fuck-ups was the most painful aspect of it.

If your team screws up once and you lose a game, that's one thing...

That debacle was akin to getting an entire series of rabies shots in one evening, and the hypodermic was filled with liquid shit.

"Nonstopdrivel"It irks me that Rodgers has another INT on his record.
Had they just taken a knee there, instead of endangering our WRs with a jump ball (I can't remember which one, but one of them came down really awkwardly), his stat line would look essentially flawless.

And yes, I would still think this even had a miraculous TD catch been made.

Yeah.
I agree.
Hail Mary's are a last resort, something for the end of the game - not the end of the second quarter when you're up by three.

You want a loss like this or to be blown out by a team that is much better than us?
At least in a game like this we were the better team, just need to clean up the penalties.
Even with the special teams gaffes we would have won without the penalties.
Even with all the errors I think we can say we are the better team.
If we gt blown out in games then it looks like we don't have the team to compete.

Truth be told, I just don't the Bears making it to the playoffs this year. I have a gut feeling there going to lose against the Giants this week. They will eventually lose to the Packers and Vikings (2x). They have some tough games lined up for them also Patriots - Jets - Redskins - Eagles.

Why I am so confident?

Week 1 ---> Lions are the winners but just aren't the official winners
Week 2 ---> Probably the only deserved win by the Bears
Week 3 ---> Packers hand the game to the Bears.

If luck wasn't on there side and if the Packers we're disciplined they could of easily been 1-2.

Now you guys tell me why wouldn't they lose to Seattle, Panthers?

Bears fan should only worry to not there luck run out.

Don't worry hopefully this is just a repeat of the 2007 season!

This is just because the Packers are a better team than the Bears. Remember the Bears lost to Detroit. Of all the NFC North teams they are the ones I have an eye on.

"RedSoxExcel"millertime, I wanted to see a replay of that.
I don't understand ESPN's coverage, they have so many shots in between plays of Cutler and Rodgers walking around instead of showing replays.
I don't know if they do it just so we can hear more of Gruden talking about nothing.

That play, I'm pretty sure they didn't even show a replay of Woodson's attempted catch.
How can you not at least show a replay (I stand to be corrected if they did).

Edit, I just rewatched it on PVR, they showed Woodson walking around instead of showing a replay of it.
Unreal.

Home team controls the replays.
Stupid, isn't it?

"porky88"

Actually, it affected the outcome. No one thing can ever decide a game. Football is a situational

THIS!

Some bad calls by refs (woody fumble, tauch 'hold'), lots of really stupid mental error penalties, dropped pics, bulaga falling over on blocked fg, jones needs some elmers glue and on and on and on.

It was a perfect storm of shit that happens to every team every year in some capacity.
This could very easily be the 2010 version of the Tampa Bay wake up call that the team needs.

Offensive line cost us the game, they got penalized too many times. One of the penalties brought back the TD, which was going to be the back breaker for the bears.

Offensive line also cost us 3 points by a weak push for the FG that Peppers blocked.

That was an easy 10 points lead over the bears putting us easily to 27 - 10.

Yes the James Jones fumble / Penalties on defense / Mike McCarthy clock management / we're bad, but I don't think that's what cost us the game.

If the O-line had really stood on there head and played a great game, we wouldn't even be in that situation and we would of just been running the clock down.

*** I'm just curious on why no one has mentioned this about Woodson but is it only me that realized that in the past 3 weeks Woodson has been PI at least twice per game which is giving up a major first down? ***
