I've been saying for days that this game scared the shit out of me because the Packers have a long-standing tendency to play down to their opponents.
My fears were more than abundantly justified.

As for Mike McCarthy's decision to make a stand in the final two minutes instead of salvaging playing time for his offense to score . . . fuck pride. The point is to win, not to look noble losing.

Whatever his merits may otherwise be, McCarthy was a pussy tonight.

Fuckin Inexcusable.

Penalties abound, but I can live with ones like Zombo had. Those special teams and False Start / Delayed Reactions / Holding ones are unacceptable.

Absolutely un-frickin-believable.

"cachorro"A lot of penalites and no running game...

That I can understand given we are playing the best rushing defense, and have two tackles that are sub-par in run blocking.

Discipline your team, and your friggin coaches McCarthy. If players can't play, then suit up those that can.

Bears barely won after an absolutely horrible game filled with penalties, lack of a running game, shitty special teams and dropped interceptions...far from sucking but completely inexcusable.

Inexcusable is the correct word here.
I'm disgusted.

We're the better team, but they played the better game.
We beat ourselves.

1) The intentional grounding on Rodgers, what was he thinking?
It wasn't even direct pressure on him if you watch it.
They had the two defenders blocked on the right hand side, just a plain mental mistake.

Ok, stuff happens.
It's not the end of the world. Still 2nd and 20, can make it up.

2) Pass to Jones, Jones breaks a tackle, is heading out of bounds, somehow doesn't protect the ball.

Ok, so fumbles happen in the NFL, at least we have three timeouts to work with to get the ball back.

3) MM challenges a play thats not even close, a play that they have had time to look at because the refs were discussing the call. I counted over 2 minutes before they threw the challenge flag.

They lose a timeout for NO F'N REASON!
If we had that timeout, may be get the ball back at some point.
Unreal.

Also, overall, people should not go nuts, we lost on the road against a good looking team.
We beat ourselves with penalties, I think if we play them at home, its not even going to be close.

The above is just stunning that those three things happened in a row.
We can't afford stuff like that.

The Packers looked like the more talented team, but once again they got lured into playing Bears football. The game was decided by penalties and special teams plays. I have to give the Bears credit, and let's hope the Packers learned something from this. It sure was sickening to watch.
