Zero2Cool;187041I wonder if it's because I was in there with two browsers on the same machine? SlickVision is gone.

Nope.. I enter and it is loading multiple Zero entries.. bunch of numbers.

Considering my experience over the last few years, that's a good thing.

Anyhow, I'm unpacking, but if you can find a better software, one preferably that intergrates into mIRC using DotNetNuke that'd be great. Even if theres a price tag attached, I'll be interested.

This is what we used with the old site and I'd like to incorporate into the new site.

I can enter text just fine.
However, I do think it's kind of creepy you can't see who else is in the room.

Plus, NSD and I have always had private conversations going on and I did a lot of private conversations with other people as well.
We'll need to see whom else is on.

I'm getting wood just thinking about those private conversations.

I must say that for all its flaws, I liked the old gameday chat applet better. Is this new one based on Ajax or something? It works by refreshing the page several times a second, which is just distracting.
The stop/refresh button flickers as it switches back and forth, as do the favicon and page-loading icon.

Why does this not surprise me?

As for GameDay chat, I have faith in ya Kevin.

This chat applet is essentially unusable.
I am lucky to get one or two messages posted before it hangs.
If it doesn't improve, I doubt I will be participating in live chats this season. It is too frustrating and the flickering is too distracting.

Before stating such a broad irresponsible comment, why not preface this with what operating system and broswer you're using?

The issues you've mentioned, I've just tested with three browsers. FireFox 5.0, Chrome 12.0 and Internet Explorer 9.0 on Windows 7 Ultimate.

Chrome appears to be the culprit and I sure as hell won't be wasting my time trying to fix a poor chat module to accommodate a few who use Chrome.

To Everyone:

If you're using Chrome people, please give FireFox or IE a try. Sorry for the inconvenience, but until a better chat module is discovered or developed, that's how its gonna have to be.
