Close one again this week
Things to look for: Offense
-Clifton vs Peppers (Pack O-line vs Bears D-line)
Clifton does a pretty damn good job against Peppers and I hope he lays everything on the line this game. Overall, the line needs to give Rodgers time in the pocket while his receivers get separation. Rodgers having to scramble around won't help.
-Finley vs Coverage
Finley should have a field day with the Cover 2. He needs a big game.
-Rush offense
Starks is averaging 6.8 YPC and Grant is averaging 4.3 YPC. Give them the ball early and make the Bears think run, setting up the deep PA.
Things to look for: Defense
-Stop the biggest threat
Matt Forte is the Bears offense. Packers are 6th overall in rush defense, but he is the biggest threat in the pass game. Packers struggled against covering Sproles and though Forte isn't as fast, the Bears may try to exploit this.
-Get to Cutler
Bears offensive line is just terrible. Capers will hopefully throw in some nice blitz packages against them and get to Cutler often. Saints crushed Cutler and the Packers defense should do the same. Cutler makes dumb mistakes under pressure
-Close gaps, form tackling
When Cutler or Forte are allowed to run in circles with the ball in their hands, they make something happen. Packers defense needs to close the gaps and tackle these guys on the first attempt. If they break 1 or 2 tackles, they always find ways to make it to the end zone.
-Turnovers
Capitalize on mistakes made (mostly by Cutler being pressured). Big turnover factor will play into winning the game.
And as always....DON'T KICK IT TO HESTER!
Packers win 24-13. 3-0.

This is the one I'm most worried about. Clifton hasn't looked bad overall but I'm noticing him more than normal seems like he's not quite at his top level right now and he might need it against Peppers.
A big thing that could help that is getting the running game going as you said. Also last year in the NFC Champs game most remember Lang going in at LT and getting beat bad for a series. BUT Lang stayed in one or two more series and MM changed the game plan and had them running and Lang was pushing Peppers around in the run game. I just wonder about the idea of having a running package where Newhouse comes in for Clifton at LT and they become a run first team in that package. Just thought it'd be a nice change up that might catch them off guard and then play action pass should then work.

Packers also struggled with RB Jonathan Stewart in the passing game. Of course they were trying to limit Steve Smith, two receiving TEs and keep a spy on Newton making sure he didn't take off and run... which the Bears might not have all those threats for the Packers to focus on become the RB.

Zero2Cool;193375Anyone going over to the Bears forums and talking smack at all?
Looking at some of the stuff over there makes me...
1. Grateful to be a Packers fan.
2. Grateful to have a site like this.
Wow.

Spend some time over at the Green Bay Press Gazette or JSonline.
I bet you come away feeling pretty slimy too.
No team has a monopoly on idiotic fans.

Yes.
I am still amazed by the level of intelligence on this site.
I often feel unworthy.
I cringe at JSonline.

polargrizz;193525You won't have to search for me after the game this Sunday. I'm a Bears fan and I consider myself to be well behaved here on your board. The base core of Packer fans who inhabit this forum are ( Yes I'm really saying it ) football saavy and have an above average grasp of gridiron intelligence.
Look, I'm not some Italian Beef eatin' Guido meatball Bears fans who generalizes everything into a three word sentences like "The Packers Suck" I know football, and I know that this years Bears team is Most likely going to finish below 500.
But.....I still want them to do the unlikely this weekend, kick your Packer Asses![duh]
We love ya, Grizz, you know that.

I love Bears week.
I've been counting down on my tumblr
www.dalezawada.com
with funny pics(and one really mean one about Urlacher's mom).
The trash talking is always fun.
We should be able to smash Jay Cutler good but I have a bad feeling about this week.
I honestly think we're going to lose this one.
Then we win against Denver and go 3-1.
Here's to hoping I'm wrong as usual!

One thing I am confident about in this game is Packers redzone defense vs. Bears redzone offense. Even if the Bears dink their way down the field, there is a good chance that they are held to a field goal or nothing.
I have too much faith in our offense to think the Packers lose this one. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if we did lose. These games just never come easy. [aiee]

About 2-3 years ago there was an app on Facebook for Packers fans (might still be there) and it was a cool feature to have because it would combine the opponents board with the Packers board on game day. The Packers forum was filled with garbage though, but this was also during Favre leaving.
