I wouldn't be surprised to see 1,000 yards passing combined in this game. Packers can't stop the pass if their life depended on it and the Falcons can't stop the Packers passing attack if you spotted them 12 men on the field.

Where is the optimism? Our offense is playing phenomenal football right now, and it has been a joy to watch AR and this team. But I do concede our defense has seemed a bit weak especially in the secondary. We also can't forget about Turner. We stop him early and we make them rely on their passing again I don't think Matty "Ice" can get them a win. They have an infuriating, boring offense. They like to get the short stuff going then go deep much like we set up our run with passing they set up their deep balls with short routes. Gonzalez is not quite Finley-esque but he has given us problems in the past. He is incredibly hard to play man to man and he gets lost in our zones a lot. I'd like to see Burnett on him not because of his coverage skills per say
but because of the athleticism and size Burnett has. If our pass rush doesn't get home or get pressure it will be a shoot out. And if we don't protect AR we'll be in big trouble, but that hasn't been a problem yet. Our D just needs some timely turnovers and our offense needs to play the same ball they've been playing. I think we win this, and I'm not saying that just because I'm going to the game....Or maybe I am.

I'd be happy if this turned in to a shoot out.
Maybe only 1-2 QB's in the league could compete in a shoot out with AR and Ryan certainly isn't one of them.
If it turns into that the defense would give up some yards but get some picks too.

While our secondary has struggled, a lot of that blame should go to lack of pressuring the quarterback. When receivers are able put on double moves and run around, finally breaking free with the quarterback having maximum time, our secondary will continue to get torched. This is not the case with the Falcons. Their offensive line is just terrible and I think Capers is going to take full advantage of this, putting Ryan on his back a few times. Defense gets 2-3 turnovers. [thumbup]
On that note, while we all harp on our defense...Atlanta's defense is terrible as well. I can't imagine what Rodgers and Co. are going to do to this defense. I am assuming Bulaga and Grant are going to be back? Bulaga gives us better pass protection (Newhouse did a good job filling in) and Grant gives us a better run game. Add Finley into the mix since we didn't have him last year and there is just no way their defense can stop the Packers offense.
Packers- 35
Falcons- 24

No, Ryan isn't one of them.
Only Tom Brady and Donovan McNabb could compete with [ar] in a shootout.
(I put the 2nd name in there to see if anyone actually reads what I type).

After 4 games The Packers are on pace to score 592 points and Rodgers is on track to throw for 5,300 yards. Both marks would be single-season NFL records. There are always fast starts in any season, however I think this keeps on keeping on.
I think Cobb has a big game, the Packers D gets pressure on Matty and it is a big win.
42-23 with 450+ passing yards.
