And now for a word from our friend Kevin Seifert.

Only the Packers Can Prevent 16-0 Now

That'll do it. The Green Bay Packers will finish this season 16-0 unless they decide they don't want to. They took the best shot Sunday of arguably the best team they're scheduled to face for the rest of the regular season, and at the first moment when the outcome appeared in doubt, the Packers flew downfield with scary precision and perfect clock management for the game-winning score.

I don't see the Packers losing the next 4 games. I really hope some of the injured players are able to recover and make it down the stretch. I had no idea so many starters were injured until I looked at the injury report today. Anyone have any updates on how long Hawk and Bishop are expected to be out?

hawk and bishop weren't ruled out until Friday so I'd be shocked if they missed more than 1 more game.
I'd be surprised if they even missed that.

I'm mainly worried about Woody.
Nagler said he was at the game and he would be surprised if Woody was back for next week.
Secondarily, I'm worried about Sitton.

But getting healthy for the playoffs is what it's all about.

Neither of them practiced all week either. How about Sitton? What kind of a knee injury does he have?

Um, apparently (according to Bob McGinn in his post-game column) Giants CB Prince Amukamara took himself out of the game sometime in the second half because he was "too tired" to continue playing; hence Will Blackmon was forced to serve as the nickel. I'm not sure if McGinn was intending to be fictitious... but if, in fact, Amukamara actually did that... wow. Just, wow.

Cheesey;199309I was more worried about this game at the begginning of the season then i am now. I think the Giants are more "ripe for the picking" now then ever. I think the most important aspect now is, to get up on them early and make them feel defeated before the game is even at half time. Demoralize them, and they will act like they did last week's game. They looked out of it on the sidelines.
Of course NO pro game can be taken for granted. If you let them feel like they have a chance, they could win. Get their crowd out of it, and i think they will fold.
Packers 38, Giants 24

Well, i got the Packers score right.
They let Eli have WAAAAY too much time to throw.
I'd like our D to get better, but i think it is what it is, and Rodgers will have to keep bailing them out.

Yeah, that was one UGLY win.

I'm waiting for RashaanSalami's analysis as he knows D WAY better than I ever will, but I was under the impression we didn't get enough pressure on Eli and that's why he was looking so good.
Plus, Nicks is one of the top WRs in the game.
He's awesome and so is their #2 guy (brain fart, forgot his name).

Best part of the game though, you missed it Cheesey.
Vikesrule was in the chat rooting for the Giants.
He got quiet on that last drive.

Yes, I predicted a blowout.
I was wrong.
The thing is, whooptie-do.
That was hands down the worst game we played this year and the result was a W.

Now on to the Raiders.
I'm hoping Woodson sits a game as a precautionary measure.

I wonder if Charles Woodson has a little motivation to play the Raiders as a Super Bowl Champion. I doubt it, always curious about the little insignificant things like that.
