Everybody wants speed.
We already have speed with Green and Cobb.
We needed power, which is what Lacy will bring.

Alex Green does not offer speed. DuJuan Harris offers speed. Randall Cobb does not offer speed either.
Eddie Lacy was passed over because all he did was run through big holes, like Mark Ingram, which, how has he done in the NFL? Lacy won't be much better.

I can't argue with this choice. Lacy has a second-round grade on him and that's where they took him. That's just great business. I like that they traded down, as well. There were so many options at No. 55 that they knew they'd get one of their guys.

Only way this is good is if DuJuan Harris starts 1st and 2nd down and Eddie Lacy takes 3rd down. I'll add some highlights in the original post when I find'em.

Nobody but Barry Sanders could run the football effectively behind the Packers O-line.

At 5-foot-11 and 230 pounds, Lacy has an “uncanny knack to get out of trouble” for a player his size, college scouting director Brian Gutekunst said.
Can you imagine that?
A dude with vision, who doesn't always run into the back of his Oline?
Who can actually ESCAPE from traffic?
Just awesome.
