Packers just paid a guy 110 mil., not to run or hand off, but to throw the ball!!!!!

:)

I actually like the pick, let's see where Ted goes from here.

Well I ain't a football genius but so far we drafted the two types of players I wanted: The hybrid DE with lateral agility and the bruiser back with great vision and reliable hands out of the backfield. We still have issues on the O-line and at Nose, but this is a start...

I don't think anyone is claiming to be a genius by giving their opinion, no worries of anyone labeling you like that lol

I'm just worried about what I seen. He runs through big holes, something the Packers I don't think can offer.

He does seem to have good vision though. It'll be exciting. Many experts are saying this was a great pick.

Added his bio to the original post.

nerdmann;244417Can you imagine that?
A dude with vision, who doesn't always run into the back of his Oline?
Who can actually ESCAPE from traffic?

Just awesome.

This all of course remains to be seen.
This O-line can make anybody look, well, not so good.
And he will have to be able to escape traffic because he will see a lot of it.

Eddie Lacy talking about how he'd fit into the Packers offense - link.

Love this pick! Hell, I wanted him in the first...

Teddy knew what he was doing when he traded down. He knew either Lacy or Ball would be there at 61. My guess is that we had both of them graded out about the same.

Zero2Cool;244401Eddie Lacy ... bad selection. He had HUGE holes with Alabama. He won't have that in Green Bay. I'd rather have seen a Safety selected. Someone who could contribute to the team.

We don't need safeties.

"Yet at his pre-draft workout April 11, Lacy looked like those fatigued linebackers running on empty. At one point, the 5-foot-11, 231-pound back needed to step outside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility to catch his breath. The workout raised immediate red flags. This was, essentially, Lacy's job interview. And he looked tired, out of shape."

yeah I am a little concerned too.
But some experts have him rated pretty high.
