DarkaneRules;255712then we get flagged and they score a td haha
The refs will be a factor, one way or the other.
It would be interesting to see which way they lean.
The Packers should invest some serious time and money in PR.
The NFL likes a good story.
Marketability.
heheheh

Dulak;255721sadly he's better then our backup by a mile ...
Not really.
If anyone had a worse looking preseason than Coleman it was Colt McCoy.
The guy played even worse than Tolzein.
I'm surprised they even kept him, he's awful.

I think there was a power shift with both teams. We got better on D, at RB, and made adjustments to our OL that should make for an improvement.
SF on the other hand, lost Crawford, Kaepernick's primary target, lost Gordon, their starting S to FA, Justin Smith is coming back from injury, and Frank Gore is another year older. Boldin was a great signing, but who knows if he and Kaepernick are dialed in. Davis is always tough.
I have GB going undefeated and winning the SB. Packers WIN!

Not sure who Crawford and Gordon are, but losing Crabtree and Goldson are pretty big losses for the 49ers [grin1]

Yeah, you got it. Thanks for the assist. Did I get Davis right? That's shocking as that was the one I thought I was really struggling with...
Too funny.
Feeling kind of brain dead after this big Harley weekend. Who is the other LB of theirs with the hand injury? Forgot about him too, but another big loss. Willis.

Packers-49ers Week 1 Dope Sheet is now posted.
Dope Sheet•Green Bay enters Sunday’s contest having won nine of the last 10 regular-season meetings against the 49ers. Including the playoffs, the Packers have won 13 of the last 16 against San Francisco.
•Under Head Coach Mike McCarthy, the Packers have won five of their last six season openers, which is tied for the No. 2 mark in the NFL with Baltimore over that span behind only New England (6-0 since 2007).

This is so exciting. Bob McGinn has a great preview of the SF game up at JSO. I'm hoping we roll out hitting on all cylinders to beat the pants off the 9ers. This Packers team will be a very different team than the one that was blown away in last year's playoff game. Our run D needs to be stout, and our O efficient in reeling off some long scoring drives. Keep their O off the field.

And this is one of the biggest tests to our OLBs. The read option tests their reactions and executes accordingly. We will see if Perry does a better job than Walden did or if they working the play to the side of Matthews.
