It would be great if this kid pans out.
At this time though, I am just enjoying watching my Chicago Bears fan friend squirm as he is a long-time Alabama Crimson Tide fan and has to listen to me talk about Eddie Lacy, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and now possibly, Adrian Hubbard.

Zero2Cool;276365He won't survive the second cut down day. Hold off buying your jersey.
Too late! It's being shipped overnight! [-x

Good.
GB can use an upgrade in the LB group.

play2win;276377Tell you what uffs, read this Q&A from just before the draft, on April 19th and ask yourself if you are really being fair to the man...
http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2014/4/19/5625936/2014-nfl-draft-adrian-hubbard-interview-alabama
He sounds like a very focused, professional person, one who readily acknowledged the things he felt he needed to work on. Also, note his comments on Peppers, and imagine how excited he must be to be on the same team as him.

Here's what Hubbard had to say on your boy's comments:
Again, this is another after the fact potential damage control piece.
If he's promoting the fact that Saban loved him then why didn't they want him back at Bama?
Sounds like they were happy to see him go.
You have to at least ask...Why?
The guy didn't get drafted and he blamed it on the teams not getting their papers about him?
What?
That doesn't pass the smell test to me that he didn't get drafted because teams didn't know he was cleared.
How could that be...he has potential millions riding on them getting those papers and he's just going to let it ride that they did only to later claim they didn't?
Nope.
I'm not saying he's a bad guy... I don't know him at all.
I'm saying some things have been said about him that cause concern and I happen to believe the where there's smoke there's fire thing.
I'm not aware of any of the draft picks or UDFA's having this said about them save for Hubbard.
Hungry for news about how these guys looks and what guys, if any, are signed from the tryouts they had.
One of the best times of the year.

I've yet to see one statement from Saban saying he didn't want Hubbard back. If you cannot produce that then you are doing a pretty big disservice to our new LB.

Saban not wanting him back can actually be a good thing.

Wasn't it you who posted the blurb from Walter Football saying Bama didn't seem interested in having him come back for his senior season?
Something doesn't add up.
If the blurb from Walter is true, then it wasn't his heart condition.
It either spoke to his production (which it likely couldn't because he was productive) or something else.
"Something else" has the blanks filled in by what Nawrocki wrote about him.
I'm saying it's logical.
It's not logical that a guy had papers saying he was cleared on his heart but none of these teams knew it.
The teams and him/his agent get one crack at this thing over a period of days...no way teams didn't know he was cleared as he claims.
Now, whether they believed he wasn't a risk even with the paper is a fair question, but it makes sense that he's such a problem child that nobody wanted to bring him in to their locker room.
Packers took risk, I assume, by doing their homework and understanding he's a Peppers fan.
What a deal... Packers end up with Peppers and this guy follows him to Green bay.
He likely is in Chicago if Peppers is still there.
How will that play out over the years.
Signing Peppers could've netted us a dominant LB and pass rusher for years and years to come.
I'm fired up for the guy... I posted about him in the UDFA thread...I'm just worried about the mental part of him because the physical is special.
Never seen a 6'6 LB in Green Bay.

No fucking way! Where do you get this shit that he's some kind of "problem child?" Those are your words, and clearly based on NOTHING, since you cannot produce anything to back up your erroneous statements.
You're throwing an assload of shit out there on this player and it is completely baseless and unwarranted. You are worried about what "mental part?"
Fucking bullshit.

Are you for real?
Have you not read about this guy?
Why didn't he get drafted?
You're going with he had a heart condition but teams didn't know if he was really okay because they didn't get a "paper" as Hubbard claims?
What would you like me to produce?
Nolan Nawrocki ripped the guy... Bama was said not to want him back (based on Walter blurb)...you figure it out.
Just because he's a Packer doesn't mean he may not be a problem child.
I hope he's not... As I said... enough smoke for me to believe there's a fire.

If it is Finley level of outspokenness I will have no problem with that.
