buckeyepackfan;319068So you are down to name calling and waiting for something else bad to happen.
Typical.
BTW, I also agree with whoever said that members who don't think Jordy is a #1 receiver are complete football idiots.
Just agreeing with other members posts.
😄😄😄😄😄😄
Uncle Buck is name calling?
That's weaker than Cheesey's BS.
Yeah, we're all just complete fucking idiots.
Do you think you could trade Jordy Nelson straight up for Calvin Johnson, Dez Bryant, or Larry Fitzgerald?
Yeah, no way in hell, cause those guys are legitimate #1 receivers.
Green Bay has had 2 legitimate #1 receivers in the Favre/Rodgers era:
Javon Walker and Sterling Sharpe.
The rest of very good #2 receivers.
A #1 receiver makes his quarterback better than he is, not the other way around.

uffda udfa;319084The JJ stuff in Oakland is apples and oranges.
He wasn't a top option in Green Bay.
He was in Oakland.
Had he been the same type of option in Oakland as he was in Green Bay his stats would've been far less.
Greg Jennings is the best measure of this if you want to try and compare.
Top guy in Minny...top guy in Green Bay.
Great in Green Bay...not quite so good in Minnesota.
Just go compare Boykin and Nelson's stats playing with our backups.
Boykin was ready for "the next step" when he was in a bigger role.
When he went back to a smaller one...he was obsolete.
It's about opportunity in Green Bay.
Davante now has what Jordy had and Greg had before him.
The eating is quite good.
I was responding to the comment that if Cobb or Jordy were on another team with an average QB, they wouldn't get 600 yd. If Jones can get over 700, I'm sure those two would be able to get well over that.

Exactly, especially with WR James Jones being a washed up never-has-been as well. I think if you put Jordy Nelson in place of someone like Dez Bryant or Julio Jones he would put up similar numbers and even potentially better numbers.

Just because Jordy Nelson may not be quite as good as Julio Jones, Calvin Johnson, or Dez Bryant does not mean that's he's somehow not a #1 WR. He's obviously a #1 WR for the Packers therefore he is a #1 WR. Period. Trying to extrapolate to other teams and situations is nothing but conjecture. It may be fun to discuss on a forum, but it doesn't change the fact that Jordy Nelson has been a #1 WR for the Packers.

Thought the opening post did a good job of substantial evidence that Jordy Nelson was indeed WR1 in this league.

Obviously some of you don't see things like Uffda and I do.
It's OK, we're special and the rest of you aren't.

Put it this way, just because Jordy isn't as "physically gifted" as megatron, doesn't mean he's not as GOOD.
Tortoise and the hare, gents.
