Bigbyfan;350545I enjoyed the fact so many of these draft "experts" projected all these guys to be 1st rounders, yet they're still on the board.
Kinda shows you that these guys are getting paid ridiculous amounts for what is basically a guessing game.

They are getting paid for more than mock drafts but certainly are overpaid
for what they do, which is nothing productive.

Walters DT/DE ranking

Walters NT ranking

8. Kenny Clark*, 3-4DE,
4. NT UCLA
Height: 6-2. Weight: 314. Arm: 32.13.
40 Time: 5.06.
Projected Round (2016): 1-2.
4/27/16: While other players got more attention, Clark had an excellent combine workout. He ran faster than expected in the 40 and was superb in the field drills. Clark showed quick feet, good balance, agility, and an ability to bend. He definitely helped his first-round hopes at the combine. Given this crowded defensive line draft, Clark is on the Day 1 and Day 2 bubble.

Dude is a bit light to be a true NT.

Don't they usually hang around 330.

He's gonna be a 2-4 DE.

We never have run a true 3-4.
Defense today is about matchups and this guy is going to be able to do a lot more than Raji.
He's roaring with possibilities.

I ate some crow (and I am sure many others did) last year when I threw up my arms at the back-to-back DB picks of Randall and Rollins. I hated the picks.
I was pissed because for the months leading up to the draft, neither of these names had been regurgitated by the NFL draft pundits. Then the season came and Randall/Rollins played pretty damn well, especially Randall.

I was initially thrown off by the pick of Kenny Clark because I was sucked into the Myles Jack saga. I could not believe he was there at 27 and the Packers passed on him. After my brief period of being upset, I cooled down and thought about the 31 other teams that passed on him as well. Then I also thought about how annoyed I (and other fans) get when a Packer gets injured. Why would we want a guy with such a large medical threat?

Ted went the conservative route and took a 20 year old that has shown flashes of being good. Someone that has similar qualities as Mike Daniels. He was being downgraded because of his height and short arms, being touted as a 4-3 tackle. Has a wrestling background and wins with leverage and strength.

I am really looking forward to seeing Kenny play. He is going to get thrown in the trenches early so we will get to see what he is made of immediately.

Many good comments on this pick. I'm fine with it. From what I've read he may not be quite the run stopper Reed and others are but is better
all around, pushes the pocket better. This is a passing league so if he can push the pocket, even if he doesn't get a sack, and keeps the QB from stepping up and/or escaping that's pretty big.

Well here we are with Training Camp in full swing . Kenny Clark , the #1 draft pick is in camp , yet I've heard little about him thus far . Perhaps we shall hear from him in the preseason game vs the Browns .

I revived this thread to see weather those that posted about this fellow still stand by what they so boldly posted months ago .
