I wrote a post in this thread moments after a series in which he was in the shotgun on every play, one of which was an empty backfield.
I think his longest pass was 24 yards, so it was definitely shorter than in recent weeks.
Though the numbers were also somewhat skewed by the number of passes completed behind the line of scrimmage, some of which were stuffed for loss.

What series other than the hurry up offense was all shotgun? I went through the play by play and missed it.

Maybe that one was it?
I was watching the game on third floor and running down to second floor to comment, so I easily could have missed plays.
My comment about the shotgun was more based on feel than anything, I suppose.
In the first half it felt like they were trying to throw long, even if they ended up throwing short. There were some plays in which Rodgers had all day to throw, however.
If the OL could just seal off the sacks, Rodgers would probably lead the league in almost every statistical category.

What? Why? lol
A lot of plays have a deep and short route that's not that big of a surprise. Rodgers is usually looking for the deep route first when you should look for the short route, then deep route. At least, I would think.

Today.. I give the Cowboys a big black mark for the playcalling.. they were able to run early on us early with some success and haven't really lined up and tried to stuff it down our throats... maybe the Columbo injury is partially to blame.
Phillips admitted it today that they bailed on the run.. which hurt the Boys.. really it wasn't obvious yesterday. lol.
