"DGB454"Watching the rerun of Cowboys/Bears game. Bears offense looks to be doing much better than last yerr. GB needs to start fast in this game in order to stay ahead in points I think.
Can you watch the rerun of the Vikings/Dolphins game? I would like to know if Favre waved off the FG team on the first 4th down failure. A Viking fan said he did.

"VinceLambeauStarr"Early season Chicago games are always tasty for the fact that formbooks are just inconsequential jazz.
I am looking forward to this game, GB vs Chi on Monday Night - only post-season contests carry more weight for me, discounting situational games (win needed for playoff birth).
My gut feeling tells me this game will be relatively low scoring, with both teams scoring under 20. The pass rush will probably be key to winning this game.
I want to see constant pressure on Jay Cutler - he won't yield as easily as Trent Edwards and could make a few plays with blitzes in his face BUT
Prevent defense would kill us I feel. They have chicken-head recievers who are annoyingly speedy.
If we can nullify their pass rush I feel we will dominate - Tillman aside, their secondary is weak and could get overwhelmed by the likes of Finley.
I agree with your assessment VLS

Expect the TEs chipping a shoulder into Peppers as they go into their routes, and I'm fairly sure our backs will be hedging to his side every drop back.

I've seen a lot of confidence on this site. Maybe even inflated confidence in thinking we will beat the Bears on their home turf. The closer Monday gets here the more nervous I get. And the biggest question in my mind is scaring me. How will Aaron Rodgers play? He has to play good if not great for us to win this game and his play as of late has not shown him getting in a rhythm. I don't doubt our team, we are capable of the win, in fact we are the better team. But this overconfidence might be deflated soon if Aaron doesn't find his rhythm against quality defenses like the Bears.

The way I think about these games in fact any games for that matter,I don't underestimate any team and think we can dominate.Im pulling for the packers to win every game and have a major amount of confidence but im not gonna ever say anymore that we our gonna dominate it most likely will bite me in the ass(Bucs game and Arizona game bit me in the ass when I said they would dominate). For Rodgers I think he might have a good night.Bears are a tough defense and I just want Arod to protect the ball.I think they may go with the eagles approach and double finley a lot.Arod can not force it to him
take some shots down the field if needed be.Hope we win. :)

He's "tending" towards being great...Aaron.
He has been "not great" on several drives.
Cutler has looked great, too.
IF Rodgers is "great", it's not going to matter all that much what Cutler accomplishes, unless he has an absolutely career-defining moment on that evening.
That is ALSO extremely possible on MNF against the Pack.
We are ultimately the biggest pack of friggin' rubes I have ever come across, me included... :tongue3:

Playing Da Bears in Chicago is always tough, now they have the confidence of a 2 game win streak.
Crowd will be fired up, Bears come out strong, but will fade. In the end Packers win 33-16.
A.R.
throws 250yds-2 td's, one to Finley, one to Jennings, Defense gets it's first TD of the year, Crosby kicks 4 Fg's.
Running game will get between 80-100 yds.
Some will be frustrated as Packers will leave points on the field, but it is The Bears at home, scoring TD's will not be easy.
Jordy has a big game returning kicks, giving the offense a short field to work with. He will top the 100yd mark in return yards.
