I have often remarked that it would be interesting if a quarterback fumbled a snap on a kneel-down.
Well, Philip Rivers did just that yesterday.
I hope that doesn't happen in this game, because that would mean that the Chargers were leading as time expired.

I believe he fumbled while trying to get the ball in perfect position for a game winning field goal.
One of those snap and dive to the middle of the hash marks type things.

I didn't see the game either.
The articles were labeling it a "kneel down."

They fumbled the snap.
It was really fitting that on Halloween the football would be that scary bad.
I'm completely underwhelmed by both of those teams (and the entire AFC West for that matter).
If we don't sweep them I'll be thoroughly disappointed because if last night was any indication they don't belong on the same field as us.

This teams is worse than ours when it comes to underperforming and going into lulls.
They usually greatly underwhelm in the first part of the season.

That's incredible! A guy here is a huge Chargers fan, so I wanted to know if it was a kneel down or what they were doing before I started giving him shit. I started Chargers/Packers week against him after the Packers beat the Vikings. ;)

Amazingly, three or four plays later Cassel floated up a duck on an out route that was picked off.
Had the Chargers defender not been taken out of bounds by his momentum there was one Chiefs receiver that had a shot at him or it was off to the races.
The game was filled with massive blunders like that, from the Chargers to the Chiefs and everyone in between (particularly the officials... just atrocious).

That Chargers/Chiefs game was just terrible and filled with lousy turnovers. I think the Packers will capitalize on a lot of the mistakes the Chargers love to make. Rivers was being praised as one of the better quarterbacks of the league and he is just playing horrible football right now. The Chargers were able to move the ball on the Chiefs down the field but once they hit the 30, their offense took a dump. Even if they do try and use the Chiefs game as some sort of motivation, I just don't think it is going to be enough to beat a fresh Packers team.

The fact that I have to sit through an entire game and watch Philip Rivers bitch about every single thing that doesn't go his way is making me a little sick. [puke]

Packers- 28
Chargers- 17

I would hold the ref more accountable for that loss than Rivers. They should have been up by 4 at the point he fumbled the snap. That OPI penalty on Gates in the endzone was just a totally blown call. If anything, it should have gone the other way.
