I think the Packers should win, certainly if we bring our A game. But this game scares the B'Jesus out of me that it could be one of those frustrating games where we should have won but...

Last year's opener against the Saints scared me far, far more.

Same, if the packers go down and score on their first 2 drives. With Pickett and Raji good to go in base D...If the 49ers run game gets neutralized, it could get ugly in a hurry.

O will be fine.
I'm nervous because I'm not sure how good the D is going to be.
Ultimately, I think the changes in the D from last year (including moving CM3 back to the right side) will improve our run defense and our pass rush, which will make the biggest difference in our pass D.
Packers 35-17.
Edit:
Here's the Packers Media Guide for the 49ers game:

49ers will control the clock with the running game. 49ers will be able to run on the pack, and with Bishop out for the year, niners will own the Pack on the ground.
49ers D line will own packers O line and they won't be able to protect Rogers from the pass rush. Rodgers will throw 2 INT’s and spend considerable time on his back.
Smith will throw a touchdown or 2 during the game and Randy Moss
(ya, you remember him, right guys?) will have his first 100 yard game in years.

..........and watch out for Vernon Davis.
49ers by 10......book it...... [thumbup]

My biggest fear is the Niners pass rush slowing down Rodgers and our running game being ineffective.

Win or lose I have two predictions:
1) People will complain that our OL sucks
2) People will complain that our defense sucks
Because that's what happens every year, after every game.

We lost Bishop, but we also got a guy named Nick Perry who's pretty stout against the run.
Sure, we gave up a few runs in the preseason.
When neither Pickett nor Raji was in the game.
Gore might get some yards, but that's not a threat to defeat us.
This game should tell us alot about our run D.
As for Arodge, he only threw what, 6 INTs all last year?
Even if Newhouse can't hold back the tide, Arodge can still get the ball out FAST.
The Niners are overrated, but they're not a bad team.
But we have a great team.

No WAY Arodge loses this.
But before the guys would agree to sing, Nathan Morris (the guy with the deep voice) had one MAJOR demand.
Turns out, Morris is a bigtime 49ers fan ... and proposed a friendly bet to the QB -- if SF wins, Rodgers MUST WEAR an Alex Smith 49ers jersey for the remainder of the week.
If GB wins, Morris has agreed to wear a Rodgers jersey.
A rep for the band confirms ... Aaron accepted the challenge
and Boyz II Men agreed to perform at the game.
The stakes are pretty damn high for Rodgers -- considering SF passed on Aaron in the 2005 NFL Draft so they could pick up Alex Smith.
