The problem for me is the access.. in the sticks north of Wausau.. bandwidth is a hard thing to obtain..

I have a server and network at my house.. but limited bandwidth options available.. even at work here we are limited.. unless you order a full T1 or 3... cost prohibitive..

I host our business site on netpros.. but I personally know Mike there so I have a high level of confidence and rapport built in..

Yeah. I know the owner of Novanix.com but he's freaking busy as hell. I'd love to go through him instead. He's a bit more expensive, but I know for a fact he does backups because he's had to do it before.

I think there's some law that requires hosts to archive some sort of a backup for legal reasons. I'm not positive on that though.


I am looking for a new host though. We have a 42MB MySQL database and that maxes out at 100MB so I have to figure something out.

Three years and the damn DB doesn't reach 15. In the last eight months, it's over 40! go figure!

This is weird and confusing, but at least it's not an evil takeover, like what happened to the Packer Forum in 2008. Hopefully things can get more-or-less straightened out pretty soon. It's like having surgery and not having the slightest clue what the doctor is actually doing in there.

It is weird and it is not how I wanted to do the transitiong, however, I felt this was better than nothing, which was what we were left with unfortunately at the other site.

Things will get better, I assure you.
